  • This is "gramelot", a false dialect of northern Italy, also used by the Italian Nobel Prize Dario Fo.

  • @DomenicoMarazia Not quite exact. Gramelot is an acting technique based on gibberish that sounds like any real language, despite being totally nonsensical. In Linea's case, Bonomi based his gramelot on Milanese language, but you can make a French-, English-, Spanish-, etc. based gramelot as well.

  • @AbuKoji88 Yes, you're right. :)

  • Why CAN'T I SPEAK SPANISH DAMMIT.

  • @Jinxnolan is not Spanish! is actually not a real language. The voice actor is not Italian but speaks Italian. like pingu!

  • Pare dialetto Lombardo!!!

  • I have never seen this before and am glad that I have now :D

  • He speaks northern italian slang

  • @mzbobbi is milanes, italian milano dialect!

  • is it too much to ask for a god damn continuous straight line that goes for infinity

  • @buzzpuppet From what I hear, Mr Linea was a notorious embezzler that stole millions from senior citizens. Because of this, he deserved all the tormenting he received and more.

  • @mediagod *cracks up*

  • umm what?:C

  • This always made me think of the WB cartoon where Daffy keeps getting into all sorts of weird situations and we find out at the end that Bugs is the one at the drawing board..

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!

  • italian do it better

  • hahaah thats amazing ;)

  • Amazing what you can do with a white line, some goofy slapstick, and some unintelligable (To anyone who doesn't speak Italian) dialogue. I loved this portion of the show.

  • Oh, man! This is classic stuff!! Can't get enough of this!!

  • Simplus:)

  • @jorgus77 no właśnie :)

  • some subtitles wouldnt hurt

  • @fatkiller1000 even though there are fragments of words and phrases from the milanese accent, the words are meant to be gibberish, because it's the action speaking for the character.

  • i see

  • HA ! we used watch that too,but you'd never know when it would be showing. On our TV It was a little filler that you never expected.

Wicked ! I never knew he speaks an actual language! Maybe ours was dubbed.

  • Hehe, used to watch this through my kiddie years, funny shit XD

And I had trouble speaking when I was younger so mebbe that's why I really liked him ^^

  • the autor is Osvaldo Cavandoli and he is from Milan. The dialect of the voice is also tipical of Milan not Genova

  • A mediterranian man in a nutshell.

  • Osvaldo Cavandoli

  • When i was younger, i laughted myself on it...

  • yes, the voice isn't the original, and the language is Western Lombard, which isn't so far from French anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this video. very clever. Cavandoli is very smart artist.

  • joo
