@atomdragon4 Subs dont "clip". The amplifier is what clips and thus a clipping signal is sent to the speaker, but the speaker itself does not "clip". It will reproduce a clipped signal, which in turn will eventually fry it, but yea. And your amplifier will clip for many reasons. In a home amplifier setup, I would say clipping would possibly be caused by a low impedence "forcing" the amplifier to output more power than its made to do.
