The remixer changed the original pitch. The original pitch sounds better, but this is a really good mix

@SoleyNSilent this was before time stretching became popular. the remixer sped up the tempo of the acapella which resulted in a higher pitch of the voice.

i think this is actually the original recording of numb from the EP of the same name. i think portishead re-recorded the track for 'Dummy'.

haven't been able to find ANYTHING that either confirms or negates that though.
