I loved that job.

Sold Martin Logan for awhile.

Not bad speakers but my old Acoustats are quite a bit better.

Quads are ok but don't get as loud or go as low and they can be damaged with too much power.

The only other speakers that I know of that sound as pure as Acoustats are the Sound Labs.

ok Im confused I own these spkrs and I was under the assumption that if you ran line level output to these spkrs they would run off the internal amp. if you ran spkr wire to them they would be driven by your receiver or external amp. I just talked to Martin Logan cust.serv. and they told me the internal amps cannot be over ridden they are always on even with spkr wire connections as they are 4000ohms which blocks power and only lets signal pass. Funny thing is many pro reviews of these spkr cont

many pro reviews say how much better they sound running off there krell amps or mono blocks or whatever and the truth is according to ML is that the puritys are always running off the internal amps and they cannot be over ridden LOL I guess these pro reviewers are so pretentious they really beleive there own shit. goes to show you how much stock to put into these reviews , none. always listen for yourself and in my opinion the puritys sound fantastic but dont take my word for it Im no pro. :)

Ok two things first its not a Review if it was a review you would not have someone that works for the company the only one talking about it. Next if it has a amp in there if you are wanting to be "green" an save power in your home it would be really bad two have new things like these talking about all this power in your home. I notice that futureshop in canada are selling them now I will not bother I will stay with what I got.

power consumption is not an issue as the spkrs only draw 10w while in rest mode. This also eliminates static build up in the stators that would have drawn dust to the panels.
