if want to wear armor you should invest some points in enchanting so you can wear armor and still have enchantments that are useful for mages. i currently use 0 mana for destruction magic and am using light armor

one warning this can make the game a lot easier which could ether be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view.

hey rydar, its called EXPERIENCE...you have to experience the activity to get better at it. your companion cant experience stuff for you, unless you choose to live vicariously through Lydia.

TES seems to think more logically in a role playing way rather than FFX or other RPG style of XP pooling

Rydar you see its a leveling on enemys as bandits as exemple: Bandit damage rank: low health rank: low

Bandit highwayman damage rank : its what weapon they have, health rank: easy and can change

Bantid marauder damage rank: high health rank: high (can change time to time on what weapon or lvl your is in)

Btw Rydar if you see this coment, your magic seems weak because your spells arn't powerful enough. you're mainly using adapt spells when you really need expert ones

You dont get exp for kills in this game at all. You get Exp by playing and using your skills.

If I were you, I'd reconsider playing as a mage. Most of the time you're not even dual wielding those spells, so why no weapon instead?

Also, without solid armor caves and dungeons are so much harder.

The problem isnt xp or lack of xp. You are not sufficiently exploiting the resources at your disposal, thus your progression is really slow.

This game is much more melee oriented than just spells, so I'd really advice solid armor and a sword and bow as your go-to weapons.

Rydar try using alteration I'm a pure mage right now if you upgrade it the can do 3 times protection if your not wearing any armor with one cast of Ebonyflesh I get 300 armor plus if I have dragon hide I have an 80 percent chance of not being hit its great but uses a lot of magicka unless you use enchantments to bring the cost down
