  • Waylon has three brothers. Tommy, James D., and Beau. There is also a sister and I don't know what her name is. His Dad's name was Albert.

  • @MrGe61 Yea thanks fot that i knew he had three brothers i just wtote the wrong thing but you made me get his book out because i never neard mention of a sister and the book don't mention her either, in fact it kind of say's that heonly had brothers , Waylon talks about his father and says how much he loved him and that '' He never punished us kids, me and my three brothers '' thanks anyway, take care

  • waylon had three brothers! bo, waylon, tommy & frank!

  • I always knew you were also a 7th son. I miss you my friend. "Hwy 59". I call Va home in the blueridge parkway. I've climbed buffalo mt. 3 times. The eagle still flys high here on earth as it does in heaven. I had a song recorded by Kenny Chesney that Robert Kemp and I wrote, you know Wayne's son. He plans on putting it on his next cd. Maybe it will recoup that draw Buddy paid me over Cal IV. High hopes, love and miss you FOREVER FRIENDS...You sound great and I'm glad you are on You Tube...

  • I´m ashamed! I didn´t know he had a brother!

    Johnny Cash+s brother--also named Tommy

  • beautiful song tommy, loved waylon, one of the best. got to see him n jesse whenever they were alberta, canada. i was at your brothers store a cpl years back. to see the town waylon grew up in. plan on going again nxt year. RIP WAYLON you will always be remembered. listen to waylon everyday .

  • Nice words Mr Willie Thanks for taking the time to add them on here

  • I'm working on a Waylon memorial guitar right now, and have a pickguard for a Telecaster already made. Thinking about mailing it to James, and he can forward it to Tommy. Had my autograhed tourbook framed and sent it to James, to put on display in his store/museum. Got to keep Waylon's memory alive. There has been a void in this world, since he passed. It can't be filled. When I was in my 20's and rockin' to his music, I thought there would always be another album coming soon. RIP Waylon!

  • Thanks for your great comment , i agree with keeping the memory of Waylon

alive, i do believe that may be Jessi and Shooter are sittin' on a pile of unreleased,

previously unheard material, one day i a hope they will let the rest of us at least hear some of it ....once again thanks so much for commenting

  • I think it is native and he is saying the name of the song, "The Eagles Last Flight".

  • Thank you , for commenting i think you are right

  • What's the last thing he says on there...when he's done singing? Sounds like it might be cajun...

  • It sounds like Native American to me teeger, ... i think it would be French to be Cajunand that didn't sound French...What you reckon???

  • Tommy was one of my producers in Nashville..he told me so many great stories of him and waylon on the road ..he actually found Jessie, Waylons wife...they kinda fought over her management...Tommy was the reason that great bass rift that Waylon was so well known for...Tommy had to play bass and that was actually all he knew..welp thats what he told me...Marylee

  • I've heard this song before and really am glad he wrote it. I think that Tommy Jennings used to sing background vocals for some of Waylon's music.

  • yea it is nice tribute

  • Great Song! I get the honor and privilege to play bass with Tommy @ Country Splash in Somerset, Wisconsin June 17...can't wait !

  • Good one swampking i bet you have a great time

  • He does sound a little like Waylon, but have to agree with you teeger , not as handsome. Great tune though. ty for sharing

  • I guess that is true, as i understand it, he did manage Waylons affairs for a lot of years whether he managed Waylon right up to his death or not i dont know , perhaps somebody will be kind enough to tell us.

  • He sounds eerily like his brother..,not as handsome though....Waylon never gave him much recognition....did he?

  • Teeger i think you'll find that Tommy was Waylons manager
