I love it when James has his 'wine moment'. The moment when you realize everything else you've drunk is good, but not 'involving'. Every wine drinker has it eventually, but most of us don't get to have it on vid.
Where could I get a bottle of Alban's wine in the Uk? My beautiful baby boy is called Alban. I think a bottle of this superb wine could be the perfect present for his first Bd. ;-))
@ramontm74 Try The Wine Treasury - seem to haveafew of his brews up there. Would you mind awfully letting me know if you do end up getting a case, how dealing with them went? I've never used them, only read about them, so would be most interested.
Must download all these to dvd, makes great entertainment, good stuff. Been watching the 1st series at the start of the week then watched the beer one no watching the 2nd series of wine. Awesome tv. Good job dawnect, upload more stuff like this. Love it.
My friends laugh at me for getting distracted every time I see a dog. And they would think my crush on May is ridiculous. Now I don't know which I love more, dogs or James...
The guy's comment on the weather curve made sense. I think that is why in California, you get good wine or not so good wines....whereas in France, you'd end up getting excellent wines or shitty plonk.
While they're there, James should have made a quick stop at Laguna Seca. Even if this is a wine program, a petrol-head like him should at least pay a visit to the best damned piece of driving stateside.
Yeah dizzi, like being back in the classroom. Perhaps someone should get that guy to Watch Big Ideas as well as some of his DT columns at some point. I love the way James 'plays along', suggesting that he doesn't know two white Rhone varieties. I love how James can play the sarcasm game when he wants to. I also love James remark; "you'd have driven if it was more than twenty yards".
Oh, god xD This show is hilarious; I didn't realize how much I loved James May until now. Thanks so much for uploading the episodes that you have, and I think a lot of people would go absolutely crazy if you graced us with more :D
Also... as an American, I was completely floored by John's accent. It sounds sort of like someone doing a bad impression of Carol Channing... horrifying. At first I thought that it was fake x.x
Heh. "Let's go and have a memorial hotdog." "Ooh, a dog." Typical May, slacking off all the time. At least they got the soil thing into him with science.
"We're actually here to meet a MAN, James". LMAO XD

Nah, it's a nice contrast from Top Gear, where May looks like the babysitter half the time.
