Yeah, he's an asshole and he is very socially unacceptable, but the fact that hours upon hours of the show are dedicated to pointing out Sal's craziness is just insane. People talk about dropping Sal for being 'crazy' while it took a long ass time dropping Eric the fucking Midget, who was a parasite to the show and was an even more terrible person.
Everyone but Sal is afraid to tell Howard the REAL reason why Beth married Howard. They know if they tell Howard the truth, he'll probably end up firing them. Plus Howard literally made their lives, so obviously they won't turn against howard, so they'll keep telling him what he wants to hear that Beth loves Howard only for Howard. Yea right, her last husband was a 90 year old billionaire too she broke up with him b/c she couldn't stand the sex and got some money so she moved on to a younger guy
He's not a psychopath. He's a sociopath. A psychopath knows the difference between right and wrong and doesn't care. A sociopath doesn't understand the difference. They usually rationalize things until either they're right, not as wrong as you think, or it's evened out because on some level you're wrong too.
