What a nightmare AOL are. I call their 'help line' to cancel my account, get re-directed to every employee in their Indian call center, asked by each one the same questions over and over and over again, get transferred again, same questions again, etc, etc. 45 minutes later.....still no solution, still with AOHell...WORSE THAN ALCATRAZ TO ESCAPE FROM .......Steer well clear of AOL

Just as a completion to my previous post. I worked for AOL for 4 years, in the collection department no less (If anybody spoke to Dan Williams that's me). The thing is that within these 4 years i saw a radical change within AOL and unfortunetly I was asked to do a few things that contradict with my own beliefs and common sense. However AOL does not care about it's members, all they care about is to get even the last penny from you even after death.

@blurmotion I did get this impression from talking with them, especially on the phone in the Irish call c enter. They seem like good people on the other end but you can tell they are being forced to follow a script/specific procedure etc.

We used to have AOL. My brother was about nine, and working on a school project, and guess what AOL did? An ad for a porno site popped up on the screen. When the internet was turned off. We then canceled AOL after many tries, and they continued to bill us. Something like that. God save us from AOL. DX

What do you suspect from AOL, it's runned by 3rd world dick heads from pakistan, America Online no longer has a support call from america, I use to be with aol when it was just dialup profit, you call them, it was always some one from your country, now, with the compition of broadband prices, you phone them up and you have to ask them to repeat themselves over again, if you ask to speak to someone who can speak english, they put the phone down on you.

Aol does suck i had a computer that everytime u turned it on aol would open all the time and if u shut it, it pops up again, i got this checked and it wasnt supposed to do. GRRRRR

i used to have aol as providor in early and mid 2000's then went 4 years without computer, got back on laptoip and used verizon, BIG difference, but went and downloaded aol software for easier conveinience to check email and browser. turns out the browser no longer rememebrs favorites lol, so had to do it MANUALLY transferring all my saved favoirtes to IE. it took long, but it worked. AOHELL.

AOL does suck,i got suspended like 2 times and i couldn't use my other ones anymore because of some chatroom on AOL that was for kids only it was 6-12.but now, i have a new account on there,i might go on there sometimes not all the time,i wish there was no hosts on there and it never closes and we never get suspended aol is ok
