  • Y ya te crees no? esTa chingón tu video...

  • this is good for the budget price but i have to admit the Fender Strat is way better. Everything is better about it. The feel, tone and finish, what more do you want? I have owned the SX Swamp Ash Strat and now a MIM Strat and man what a difference! Save your money. Its waaay worth it and if you can get a U.S.A Strat even better. No offense to the uploader of this video, just saying my own personal experience. Btw nice improvation.

  • Wonderful tone! Would you say the '54s are the best for that quacky tone?

  • Nice ! ! ! ! ! !

  • Nice video. Its me thinking about buying those pickups. I got a ash SX and I replaced the stock pickups for Fender Texas Special. It didnt fit at all. I hated. To bright with very small sustain no I dont know wit set will work for my guitar.

  • Have you ever played through an amp that has Eminence Tonker speakers? And if yes, did you like them for rock-lead playing?

  • tasty playin'

    5 stars

  • Oh, man, that Strat just sounds so tasty! I get chills when I hear it...would love to get my hands on a Strat like that...

  • Awesome!

Can you tell me, please, the differents between the CS 69 and the CS 54?

    Thank you very much!

  • incredible playing!

  • Which would you recommend for blues rock? 54's or Texas Specials?

    great playing

  • Both sound good but different for it. Custom shop 69 sound right for it too. You have to choose following your taste and playing. The amp you use is important too.

  • imho electric guitar playing doesn't get any better - fantastic

  • is that a fender neck on the sx ?

  • original neck, you can tell by the shape and SX logo there

  • i must need glasses as i didnt see the logo..lol thanks man...

  • Awsome!

  • Freakin love 2:01 - 2:11

I wish I could fit my Strat with these pups and buy a nice tube amp...but I don't have that kind of money yet

  • it's amazing you use suhr guitars on one hand and the other with SX guitars...

  • Gotta try and use all the gear I have! This SX ain't sounding too bad though, is it?

  • hard to experience the sound through youtube without proper recording...but it seems like you're having with it ;)

  • Very nice playing and tone! 5 stars

  • wow man! I could sit for hours listening to this!

  • Great tone, Sir! Nice custom builds. =)

  • tell me what you are playing at 2:13 onwards. Is this a song? beautiful.

  • Thanks, it was improvisation - playing anything that came to mind in the moment.

  • I bought one of those Variax Line 6 guitars. No problems getting those sounds.

  • That little filler lick at 0:49 sounds sweet! Any chance you could include that into the video which fenderbender149 requested? I think it sounded really awesome ;)

  • loved it...

hey robert are you improving at 1:25 ? my fav part

iF not , I would like to know which music is :D

  • Thank you, yes it was just improvising. Maybe I should make that into an original tune?

  • thumbs up for 54 pickups!!! i just bough an american vintage reissue from 54, its awesome! Would you get that tone with a marshall mg?

  • As far as I remember from trying the MG amps, I'd say sorry but no.

  • okey, but would you reccomnd it? or is there any other affordable amps that would go with the 54's?

  • Btw, i play blues and stuff... x)

  • Fender Blues Jr or Pro Jr would sound great with these pickups. Most Fender amps would. Not sure if Fender amps are considered affordable anymore though, after they increased their prices... ;)

  • haha okey thank you : ) well il ltry look around, just spent so much when i bough the guitar, about 14000 kr or 1400 pounds or 2200 dollar or whatever currency you use xD and thats pretty much for a 14 year old boy :S

  • you mean your parents spent :P

  • nopp :) i did!

  • You go, Robert!

  • Your intro strum almost gave me a heart attack. LOL

    Nice playing as usual.

  • Such soul, brother!

  • Nice pickin!

  • Wow!

I NEVER get tired of watching you play guitar. Your videos make me want to play with more soul and feeling. MOoooOOOOOooRE...me want MooooooOOOORE hahaha good stuff ^_^

  • Hah, thanks a lot for the feedback!

  • good playing

  • Really nice!

  • they sound great...but i'm sure it doesn't hurt that you play guitar like a real man ;)

haha i'm sure you could be a great sales person for pickups worth 5 bucks or something.

sorry, you're just an awesome player. the pickups do sound awesome though

  • Thanks, yes these pickups are very vintage sounding.

  • can you do a lesson for what you played from :28 to 1 min? that would be awesome

  • Ha, thanks, but that was just improvising something. I guess I could show the main rhythm part perhaps, the funky chording, etc.

  • that would be really cool if you had the time...it sounded great

  • I second that. I'm trying to learn that and I can't yet figure out the chords that you are playing.

  • Great job Robert, you definitely know your way around the fretboard.

  • awesome licks and tone as always

  • Sounds great. What kind of speakers are you playing through?

  • Thanks! Eminence Wizards.

  • Nice tone.

  • great tones and playing!
