It's just a thought, anyone remember the late 80's cartoon Popeye and Son? In it, Popeye and Olive are married and have a son, Popeye Jr. The main thing of note is Popeye Jr's hair is blonde. and since neither Popeye nor Olive are blonde, one has to wonder: Did Popeye do the smart thing and shack up with Blondie after all? because no way that could be Olive's kid. I'd like to think Olive may have won this battle, but Blondie won the war in providing an heir to Popeye. What do you guy's think?

The blonde was so well built, smooth, and confident. Olive was a skinny weakling. Imagine no spinach. What would have happened to Olive as she went over and found Popeye's pocket empty and Blondie got mad? Lots of good things...not for Olive.

I think the reason the hypocritical, sexist censors banned more episodes with this character is they were afraid shocking scenes of women boxers, something "unnatural", were much too sexually suggestive to millions of boys. They never had any such problem with tthe endless male fights, just good old clean healthy fun.

At 3:35 the blonde says, "Why don't ya come up and see me sometime?" To which an obviously smitten Popeye replies, "Oh I'm practically there." That's possibly one of the best double entendres ever hidden in a kids cartoon.

Perfect and realistic finish is blondie wrapping those powerhouse thighs around Olive's body and then head and finishing her off. Blondie makes Olive's ribs reak and then flattens her head like a pancake.
But first the blonde gives Olive a real beatdown, restyles her hair ,and has her punching herself. Blondie knocks her silly then k.o.'s her. Olive has to crawl back into the picture so she won't take another beating!
The blonde could have pounded Olive, really punished her for interupting her flirting with Popeye,instead Blondie finished her off in less than a minute-too bad!

I love Olive's look at 4:32. She mistakenly thought she had a chance with her anger vs a much stronger girl who beat the stuffing out of her and then some. She could have killed her at will.

A final killer punch that elongates Olive's neck halfway down to the ground and knocks her cold would be perfect. Blondie could laugh it up with some great belly laughs and maybe even cup Olive's chin and send her accross town. "Been nice knowing ya skinny" she could say.

Olive with a 3 foot neck badly beaten up and hanging is quite the mental picture. Blondie laughing it up with her in that condition is just as stimulating.

I could see her smashing Olive into the tractor with her head out of the front, her riding Olive like a pogo stick, her cementing Olive into a barrel with the quick drying cement , or her drilling Olive into a tree stump. All of that while wearing a sexy pair of shorts to show her powerful thighsand then putting on the gloves to pound her unconcious in the barrel or tree stump. These are some great ideas. I always dreamed of her in other episodes as a kid and now.

It would have also been a cool idea to bring this gal back into other episodes to beat Olive up in other scenarios. There was one in the works, but the censors killed her off. That really stinks, Wish someone could bring her back to fight Olive a new age popeye where the blonde always wins.
A cat and mouse game with the blonde just having fun with "skinny" as she knows her is the perfect ending. Let her knock her out multiple times and then kill her off. She and Popeye would enjoy every second of it. Popeye could say "nice work killer" when the blonde ko'd her. The blonde says "killer, eh big boy? Good idea" and then goes and finishes her off up in the speed bag area.

At 4:34 as the boxing mismatch starts the sexy blonde boxer looks at Popeye with a very confident smile. At 5:19 after the sexy blonde has demolished Olive and she is knocked out cold, blondie smiles and bows as if to say " Did you enjoy the show big boy". Popeye should applaud and say " That's showing her toots- The perfect ending.
Close to the perfect ending....the perfect ending would have been her intercepting Olive going for the spinach and saying "you want more, eh skinny?" She then should proceed to slowly kill Olive with shot after shot as Popeye looks on. Maybe even use those big thighs in a wrestling hold to put her away for good. I could see Olive's head being deformed by those muscular legs and then maybe punched to kingdom come.

I hope Olive signed up for the weekly boxing class at that sporting goods store and bought Popeye along to watch. I hope Olive signed up for the weekly boxing class at that sporting goods store and bought Popeye along to watch. I don't think she would have completes the course once the blonde knew the spinach secret. It would have been fun to see more of these 2. Love the " Hows that?not bad eh" after she beats her up.

Wish the strong blonde had beaten her up some more before she got the spinach.I'm sure Popeye would not have minded seeing his old girl get clobbered some more by her. That girl is much stronger and coordinated than Olive's skinny butt.
