I must say that DJ Hero is gaining fast with me as far as rankings go with the others in this series. I thought nothing was going to replace guitar as the fav, but this lately appeals to me a bit more. I really like the controls that feel a bit more natural, and the track selection.

Also, if any of you guys want dj hero gaming setup free, see my video on it. I got 3 full setups for free through a hack on a retail promo, and trick still works. Try it before too late.

i have to say, i had no hopes for this game, i thought it was going to be terrible, but i recently got this game after trying it at best buy, and it is AMAZING. even if you don't like rap (which i hate), you'll enjoy the gameplay just as much as rock band or guitar hero. so much fun :]

No, that's a completely different comparison, though I do see what you are stabbing at. However, I think enlisting, boot camp, and the actual combat is vastly different than picking up a guitar, or a set of turntables, or even just drumming beats with different things around the house. The point I was trying to make is that games like this are murdering music.

Games like these have made new tracks some good some bad but either way a lot of them wouldn't have been displayed to such a large audience look at guitar hero 3 some of those boss battles where the musicians record both sides were incredible, that gave birth to new music by each artist not "murdered it"

I got a 360 over a ps3 cause it was $150 cheaper at that point in time. Before the ps3 slims came out. Each console has its pro and con for sure. I own both consoles now and I still use my PC more than the other two combined.
