  • @infantry1560 Why don't you go see a doctor about getting the controller removed from your ass?

  • @csmybuttt I was only joking =) but still i love that pistol. thinking of getting that or either the 1911 older models

  • Is that big Ted?

  • @Kkassulkie Yeah, how do you know him?

  • That's not a 500. No compensator.

  • @SlashingWolfOG Doesn't have to have one.

  • fuckety fuck... 700 grain ? !

  • well a 9mm is not that strong and cant pierce armor, the 5.7 gets more than 380 ft lbs, thats weaker than if i hit you

  • @Kane16802 oh and the 500 magnum dont do 2500 ft lbs it does 3,031 ft lbs

  • Why do cool videos like this have to be ruined by little kids arguing in comment boxes?

    *sigh*

  • @CanadAssassiN

    Call of duty fanboys... -_-

  • Lol.. Oopps i shot susie

  • This guns is sick, but it's not even the most powerful handgun. You can get a .700 nitro express pisol.

  • @Elthenar

    1. you mean 600 nitro express

2.no you cany buy one its not a prodution handgun

  • @ChromeGhost0219

    1. No, I mean .700 nitro express, they make em now.

    2. You can buy one, they are handmade in small numbers if you want to pay a small forture.

  • @Elthenar 1. there isnt a 700 nitro express pistol, theres a rifle thats .700 nitro express

    2. where can you get one?

  • @ChromeGhost0219 I am wrong and you are right. I saw a mislabeled photo of a .600 that incorrectly said .700.

  • @Elthenar okay now where did you see a .600 nitro express for sale?

  • @ChromeGhost0219 Pfeifer arms in Austria custom makes them. They cost around $17,000.

  • @Elthenar wow who would pay that much for them honestly

  • @ChromeGhost0219 Well, it also costs around 40 bucks a bullets, so I am guessing people with more money than discretion.

  • @Elthenar I guess

  • my science teacher got a chance to talk to a chinese general and shoot 1 of these 3-4 times and he's only about 5"5' and ide say 185-190 so when he shot it the gun was rele big compared to his hand nd he got hurt

  • There's nothing funny about shooting such a gun. It's certainly not for beginners. You can get hurt firing it. I've shot hot loads in a 44 mag and 45-70 in a contender. The second shot I noticed my hand was bleeding from the grip slipping. Don't hand someone without experience a 50 S&W. It's dangerous, especially if they fire it single action and it goes off unprepared.

  • I'm sure people appreciate your concern, But we dont need you to preach to anyone about shooting a gun. It's there life, let them have some fun if they want to. I do agree with you though that shooting a gun of this calibur is not a smart idea without at least some training in shooting a firearm.

  • Gun saftey is paramount. Judging by your terrible spelling and your compulsion to interrupt , im guessing youre a prime candidate for natural selection.

  • Ha, so quick to judge arn't we?! And as for my spelling... Who gives a flying crap, it's YouTube for Christ sake, get over it ! And about me interrupting, I wasn't talking to you in the first place; so technically you interrupted my conversation.

  • @Vegita08 How exactly do you interrupt a conversation on YouTube comments?

  • @Vegita08 Have you noticed how long it takes your comments to be automatically removed? That's right, they're never removed. So if you fuck up it stays fucked up for ever, that is why it matters.

  • @Vegita08 derp de derp, you were trolled.

  • @Vegita08 me and my beer dont care how you spell.

  • Yeah sooooooo, why you guys writing so much...

  • He shoots like a damn woman, leaned back and shit. Man up if you wanna shoot the big guns.

  • I don't think that was a 500. It was probably a 44 magnum. That didn't seem like it packed enough of a punch.

  • No, it's the S&W 500, pretty sure it was loaded with the 350 grain Hornaday here, but might have been a 500 special round. I have since got some 500, 600, and 700 grain custom loads, much more kick but still manageable with the long barrel, heavy weight and rubber grip of the S&W 500.

  • I hate the common misconception that the desert eagle is the strongest handgun...FALSE! it's the 500SW. much more powder and same caliber=BOOM!

  • typical loosers say the deagle is better, but

the 500SW has longer barrell = higher muzzle velocity = faster projectile movement

and same calibre round with what you say has more gunpoweder.

i think this gun probally packs more punch than the deagle,

also deagle has more recoil because of handgun design<revolver

  • Actually, there's one even more powerful than the S&W 500. The 600 Nitro Express. It's a .60 caliber magnum. That's an elephant gun round in a handgun!

  • alright, i'll have to notify my dad, lol he'll probably start looking for one within the day.

  • Haha, yeah my dad's the same way. He bought a .44 magnum in 1970 when it was the most powerful. He was pissed off when I told him about the S&W 500 when it came out. I didn't have the heart to tell him that thanks to the .454 Casull and a few other magnums, the

.44 hasn't been the most powerful in a long time.

I wanted a 600 Nitro Express too, but with a $17,000 price tag for the revolver and ammo that is set at $40 PER ROUND quickly changed my mind!

  • "I didn't have the heart to tell him that thanks to the .454 Casull and a few other magnums, the .44 hasn't been the most powerful in a long time"

Due to the .454 Casull, the .44 Mag was only king of the handgun power from 1956-1959.

  • A hot loaded 45 colt will steal alot of the 44 magnum's thunder

  • @FloridaSnookHunter what about a 44mag +p or a buffallo bore hot bullet?

  • @dtvardy when it comes to maxing out both cartriges there both about the same. but in order for the 44mag to get velocities of the same weight bullet of a 45LC you have to use +P ammo which raises the pressure up to 60,000psi on the 44mag where a 45llog colt will do it at half the pressure.

    :45 colt 250 gr.

  • @KJonhS holy shit is the casull really that old?,,,, I know Dick Casull did some experementing with the 45colt eventually leading to the 454 casull but it wasnt comercially availible until Freedom Arms made a pistol for it.

  • Its not a production handgun, it was a full custom gun on a T/C platform. You can go to several custom shops, like SSK, and have a contender built in the chambering of your choice. We are dealing with production handguns here.

  • Yeah, I know it's a custom job. I didn't see the word "production". It's not exactly an unheard of custom job, though. Pfeiffer Zeliska has one available, too.

  • It is pretty much unheard of. At least the Contender pistol in 600 NE could actually be implemented for hunting, the zeliska revolver is the dumbest thing ever invented. It serves no purpose, except to say "I have a 600 nitro revolver". Anyways, if we're getting into non production pistols, the most powerful handgun to my kknowledge is the Maadi-Griffin 50 BMG.

  • Okay, I'm not trying to get into a debate. Yeah, I know it serves no purpose in a revolver. I have a .44 mag and I really don't see any reason to have anything bigger unless you're trying to do something ridiculous like killing an elephant. The reason I say it's not unheard of is because if you look around online or in catalogues, you'll find more and businesses that offer custom weapons in 60 caliber. Not too long ago it was completely unheard of, but it's becoming more and more known.

  • Who the hell offers pistols in 600 Nitro besides the Zeliska company? No, you would have to contract a specific gunsmith to personally manufacture a 600 Nitro pistol; and most gunsmiths would turn you down for such a stupid request. Even SSK, the most famous T/C contender custom chop does not offer of advertise anything in 600 Nitro; though you might be able to get one produced on special inquiry, at a ridiculously inflated price.

  • In addition, the zeliska revolver serves no purpose bot because of its power, but because it is impossible to carry or shoot in the field, as it weighs over 20 pounds. Pistol cartridges with greater power than the .44 Mag have a better ballistic coefficient, and a much flatter trajectory than the .44 Mag. This increases range for handgun hunters, and offers better performance for silhouette shooters.

  • actually your wrong the strongest handgun ever is the .600 express look it up..

  • no its not dumb ass they proved it on manswers lol (a show) it the worlds storngest hand cannon

  • oh sorry i'm not a redneck...

  • Actually, the Magnum research BFR is the most powerful production revoler; in .45-70 it can achieve higher muzzle energy than the smith and Wesson 500.

  • I suspect some might argue that .45-70 is rifle ammo, not handgun ammo because it is.

  • Yea my model 1918 marlin shoots 45-70's.

lol lever action is way better then bolt action for deer hunting as you don't need to bring the rifle down like a bolt to exchange rounds.

quick. i can dump off my 8 rounds in under 10 seconds. all without ever taking my eyes off the sights.

But yea i'd consider a 45-70 to be a rifle round although i've seen some revolvers that pack that round. wouldn't want to shoot it though. as my rifle already leaves shoulder bruises every season.

  • there is different types of ammo theres the rifle round the magnum round and the handgun or pistol round the smith and wessons .50cal round is smaller then the barret .50 because it is a magnum round and the colt .45 is a smaller bullet then the 44 mag because its a different type

  • There is no Barrett .50 caliber. The round you are referring to is the .50 BMG. The BMG is 10 times more powerful than the .500 S&W magnum.

  • well i no but others dont no that so i said barrett .50cal so people new what i was talking about

  • Barrett is a manufacturer of multiple rifles chambered for the .50 BMG cartridge. I don't see how telling everyone that is a caliber in itself is helping people understand.

  • im talking about the people who do not no that much about weppons and telling them what kind of rifle uses this round they will understand

  • Still if the people don't know much about firearms telling them the wrong information is the last thing you want to do.

  • true

  • If they don't know what the .50 BMG is then have them look it up.

  • the desert eagle is the strongest production semi automatic handgun and the sw500 is the strongest production revolver, which is way stronger than a desert eagle

  • @razer1000 you know the 500 linebough is about the same as 500sw. the performances are small difference. If I shot a brown bear with a 500 linebough it would be dead. if I shot the same animal with a SW500 it would be dead. dead is dead no matter how you put it. and with the linebough I didnt have to carry around a two pound revolver

  • @razer1000 Doesn't the S&W 500 have a bigger caliber as well? I thought the desert eagle was a 45 caliber while this here S&W was a 50 caliber

  • @rurokenrox Nope. Both are .50 caliber rounds. However, the S&W 500 has much more powder and therefore energy.

  • @razer1000

hmm the desert eagle is stronger cause its semi-auto. it´s shorter but actually it´s enough. very strong and semi.

but the best ist the colt .45acp double eagle. brushed chrome+nickel. silver silencer. wooden pistol grip. and 2 of them. thats the best

  • @xbox360zocker Wow. Thats some noob shit right thur. First of all, the fact that your name has Xbox 360 in it, makes me think you're a kid who legally cant own a gun. Secondly, if it's a pistol, what other kind of grip can there be? Oh and if your silencer is made of silver, you must be Bill Gates.

  • @razer1000 .600 Nitro is sooo much more powerful than 500 S&W

  • @razer1000 Strongest PRODUCTION handgun if you want to get technical :)

  • @razer1000 actually theres a bigger custom one but its almost impossible to control, i think its 700 nitro, not sure

  • @snowyphil65 you can make a 50 bmg handgun but I think you have to registure as a destructive device if in usa. and yes it has been done before.

  • @RYANSCHLESINGER well thats just stupidity lol, to correct my lower comment its a 600 nitro not 700

  • @razer1000 500 sw is more powerful than the deagle but it its not the most powerful pistol ever

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx i think it culd be the FN- Five SeveN

  • @Kane16802 no the fiveseven is very weak

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx that is a lie, the 5-7 is a powerful pistol that can pierce armor and take u down easy, id like to see u get ht with one wearing armor and then u will see wat week is, it aint week

  • @Kane16802 yes it penetrates armor well but only produces ~400 ft lbs while the 500 sw penetrates armor and creates ~2,500 ft lbs

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx and it does more than 400 ft lbs

  • @Kane16802 no it doesnt

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx yes it does, 400 flt lbs is a 9mm's power and a 9mm is nowhere near as strong as a 5.7

  • @Kane16802 you are misinformed

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx no i am not, 9mm= 400 ft lbs 5.7 = 650 ft lbs, and if u dnt think that the 5.7 is powerful than you go ahead and stand in front of one and get hit by it,

  • @Kane16802 check wikipedia

  • @Kane16802 and yes we do have the same name

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx i dont think that the 500 magnum can penetrate Armor

  • @Kane16802 it does thats why some police want to outlaw it to the public

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx then they will have to outlaw every high powered rifle cuz rifles can penetrate any armor just about

  • @Kane16802 *facepalm* no, they wont, high powered rifles arent concealable a 500sw is

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx anda 500 magnum is NOT concealable it is far to big and to heavy to be concealable

  • @Kane16802 piss out the window and shit out the window ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx wats that got to do with anything? im just say in a 500 aint concealable

  • @Kane16802 i know

  • @Kane16802 Bullshit, anything is concealable with the right trench coat.

  • @XXUnstopable lol

  • @Kane16802 It will kill an elephant. I'm pretty sure it wil penetrate armor unless if it is like 4 inches thick.

  • @BleachedFrogs i know i would not want to be anywhere near an elephant with a 500 magnum, give me a Barret .50 cal and i will be a little better, and the 500 can prolly go up to level IIIA penetration of armor but level III and level IV not even a .308 can go thru a level III and even a 30-06 can not go thru a level IV, and they are both much more powerful than a 500 magnum

  • @xxEPICSHOOPDAWHOOPxx and did u know we have the same name? lolz

  • @Kane16802 in real life?

  • nice.

  • suprised it diddnt kick him back 2 much

  • Lol Man Rusty I thought he was goin' over there for a sec

    Peace bud
