Why is it that when you divide by zero, You get a math error?

It should just give 0 by general logic

When you divide a number by 0, its the same as saying- what times zero equals the number. For example lets say the number is 3, then the question is what number could you multiply by 0 to equal 3. And the answer to that is nothing, its impossible. So the calculator gives you an error.
