Crosby is good, but when you compare the two individuals, Ovechkin is far more dominant over Crosby. You can't determine who's a better individual by looking at their TEAM accomplishments, because Canada dominates their own created sport no matter the opponent. If you take a look at their profiles, Ovechkin has 2 inches and 35 lbs of pure muscle on the Kid, he punishes his hits, and scores from anywhere. They both finished the 09-10 season with 109 pts, but Ovechkin played 10 less games, Ovi FTW
@topherbear yea, but without crosby they may have not been that dominant, i agree that they are pretty much equal in skill with different areas of dominance and Ovechkin can throw his body around i sey Crosby has the edge because of thw winning, but if Ovechkin had the wins then he would have the edge. Just my opinion you can agree or disagree, but that being said they are both awesome.

However, when you look at a player like Crosby, you see something that has yet to exsist.A player with thighs like tree trunks,and scary presence of mind. Crosby makes every other player on the ice deadly, because he knows how to give them a scoring opportunity at any time.I pick Crosby.
I gotta disagree on your reason. Crosby winning the Olympics, the Cup and WJ is because of a team. It wasn't Crosby vs Ovechkin never was. It was always Canada vs Russia or Caps vs Pens. That can't be your reason why, cause if you took away Crosby from those teams -- they probably would of won still. Both players are amazing yet so different. Either of them could be better but how would we really know? They are both great.
@thetwister151 but you never know if those teams would have won without Crosy in their line-up. He was always one of the best players on those teams and led them to those championships. I can see where you're coming from, and they are both great players, but I just think because of winnign Crosby has a slight edge over Ovechkin.
