As a fan of Master A Fowl, Jr. I thought your movie was fairly fantastic...as a fifth grade teacher, I have to say this would not have cut it with me for a book report. With the exception of Opal Kaboi, all the characters appear in every other book, and you never outline the plot or any details. I would give your report a C for lack of content. Oh and Artemis is not the hero of these books...that would be Holly Short.

@MariahnFulminate you don't understand this. this is not that kind of report, its just to announce that The Opal Deception is out, and if you read the books you will find out that Artemis is one of most heroic characters (really.) But he just has some problems with criminality, its soooo much makes him tense ;)

Ah, well...thanks for setting this teacher right... It was fun to think of it as a book report though and it gave me some practice. Yeah, Artemis has a very high coolness factor with me too. He is a classic anti-hero, but I think Holly is the character that changes the most in the series. Colfer even sets Atemis' growth back by making him forget. I suspect he does this because he doesn't want Atremis to turn into a squeaky clean hero.

Really? That's interesting. I would like to see Artemis redeemed, but then again, I don't know if I would LIKE him if he wasn't a scheming, self centered, brat. The graphic novels is not the !EXACT! appearance, Eoin Colfer's would be the most exact, but you choose the appearances for yourself, but i most agree with you that this pictures was just some ridicously random pictures and images from the internet like deviantART a anime or some where else like google.

My thoughts. Artemis: No. He doesnt wear welding glasses. he wears spectacles if anyone payed attention. Holly: I like it. Butlet: WTFH??? Hes supposed to be bald and have a thick neck and blunt chin. This guy looks too sharp. and hairy. Opal: Uhhh, ok... can we get some color? some definition? Root: meh I always imagined him with a face even bigger than butlers, bald, and no facial hair. Bad imho. Mulch: I never knew how to picture mulch, but that looks pretty good.

No kidding, the Opal silouhette was the only one I imagined in the book. Also, if in the book in particular Opal was pretending to be Zito's daughter, why the heck is she so tall? Mulch and Root are so fake, I actually imagined them to have some dignity.
