  • Me too I've taken at least a dozen tests and they all come up the same ... INFJ !! Right -On comrade.

  • holy crap infj do kinda look alike.. so weird!!!!

  • good infj vid

  • You have a lot of friends compared to me. :) I would say that the total of friends that I've had throughout the years is less than 20 (I'm in my mid 20s) with only two very good friends. I also had trouble adjusting when moving from Germany to the US, and I think part of that is that people expect much more social interaction here. I was even once told to be "more American" and "more out there"... I found out I was an INFJ a few years ago, and for the first time in my life I don't feel as alien.

  • It seems all personality types have physical similarities and give off an energy of their own. Now that I am beginning to familiarize myself with personality types, being an INFJ I can simply look at someone and tell their type. I've been right so far, but I'm only just beginning to explore this new knowledge.

  • Hi there! I'm an INFJ too. I really enjoyed this video. Some years ago I thought I was very strange, but then I've taken some tests and I turned out to be an INFJ. When I took the first test, I waas sceptic, then I read the description. The more I read the more hectic I became, because I recognised myself in those texts.

  • thanks for sharing this... i am also an INFJ and we have a lot in common :)

  • iam an infj too :).

  • i can totally relate! INFJ

  • I'm an INFJ, and I really related to everything you said. And it felt nice. Because normally I can't relate to anyone, at all. So thank you for this video.

  • I am INFJ and I talk like that too. Every time I see an INFJ, for some reason my heart goes out to them.

  • Hi I am INFJ too & I can definitely tell what a person will be like within seconds of meeting them... very emotional too & I hide it away too much. also love to play/write music your video was very much like seeing a reflection of myself in many ways.

  • Your voice is very relaxing :)

    I'm an INFJ

  • Your story is very similar to mine, I was born in South Africa in 1988 and moved to the UK in 1999 and I found it very difficult to adjust. As far as I can remember I only ever had 1 or 2 close friends at a time and I was always a quiet child. It's still true today. I've learned to voice my opinions, a good thing I think - I was in a relationship with an ESTP girl for a few years. I'm highly into psychology, and I've also recently graduated college studying art. I've played in several bands too

  • I think you are cool too. Please visit my blog. I write about God. Who is alive and real to me and those who know Him. God bless you and preserve your spirit pure from the world.

  • im enfp and i think ur cool :)

  • I love the way he talks!

  • I understand you.

  • Turned out to be a well made video. I'm a INFJ musician as well. I love being on stage but I'd never want to tour. You ever consider sitting in the seats at a show? Even when there weren't seats if it was a place like a venue/bar I'd hang back towards the bar and watch it from there rather than be on the floor... (I'm also 5`9 and 95% of the guys on the floor are taller than me as well so)

  • its like you read my mind. I'm an infj as well.

  • I've lived here (U.S.) my whole life, 36 now and still have not adjusted to the place! lol INFJ as well. I also want to mention, I do not think INFJ types are "EMO" as many emo types seem to want to be. Introverted and empathetic does not mean someone is going to be weak or crying over the smallest of things, but we might cry or feel emotional inside if something is powerful and meaningful. You, in the video, seem to fit the INFJ type to me and not "emo".

  • I relate deeply with your video I'm 21 infj gal have lived here almost all my life and I have always felt like I don't fit in this world. Highly recommend hsp book forgot the scientific name for it but anyways it's inherited very real!!

  • this guy is funny!

  • I look very similar to you...you're right about the facial features. My friend noticed it too on several videos before we even watched yours. Do you also have extremely creative thoughts that maybe 1 or 2 people noticed but maybe you didn't notice yourself?

  • I like that seen in Ferris Bueller too.

  • Thank you so much for making this video! Nothing in my seeking. has EVER given me such relief and comfort. I finally understand the reason I've met so few like me or who understand me at all. Being a creative artist, writer, caretaker, teacher and fun-lover - but also private - my relationships are complicated, diffuse, intense, limited. I am unspeakably grateful to have found fellow empaths and deep thinkers, and an accepting community after years of confusion and hurt and self-doubt.

  • I don't have many close friends either, I keep close with at at least 3 to 5 people. I'm a music fanatic and I like electronic music, and other genres too. Am I expressive? Only at certain moments where expressing myself is necessary, I sometimes write poems. I like arts too. I'm a one on one guy as well. One thing a little different about me is that I'm outgoing and sporty. My friends notice I keep a melancholic face or sometimes like that of a serial killer (lol), dunno why.

  • I'm an INFJ, too. People often tell me I'm different...I guess we are rare people, though! hah

  • Can you speak more on the eyes? Is there an emotion attach to the eyes for example cheerful eyes.

  • I don't believe in superficial tests and acronyms to describe the self. You either know who you are or don't. Someone else can't tell you something that only you know.

  • @Jarobman

There is a bright line between each type and everybody fits in a type like a glove. The problem is self identification of what their personality is to the extent that they can get accurate test result. That alone proves that there is a lot we don't know about our personalities.

If you actually would take the test, being highly skeptical with you're results; you will realize that you do fit into a type like a glove.

  • Hey wuzzygonedoo.... I really appreciate the candour in the way you approached this video and talked about yourself. I am an INFJ. The biggest things that stress me out are speaking in front of a crowd unprepared, (being put on the spot), confrontations, injustices and inequalities in the world, the things we do to each other, the things we do to other creatures on earth, people who are fake and manipulative. I just want to say you're not alone and thank you for reassuring me for even a moment.

  • way to post some real shit. I really relate to this one too. This vid helped someone somehow.

  • Hence fear of misunderstanding and also sometimes getting fed up with never coming to resolution of a question, you distance yourself. Even with people you know there is always this distance and questioning that distance trying to understand but not really understanding it yourself. The distance is comfortable yet disliked so hypocritical no one likes to be alone but no one likes to not accept a part of them that is alone.

  • He does the eye avoiding thing which is why I'll never make a video on youtube and will have to explain to the people I want to get to know is that when talking about something that is personal or meaningful the eyes will look elsewhere, never making contact for too long. Not good in a society that thinks its disrespectful when you don't look them in the eye. My grade school teachers always tell me to look at them when I got in trouble but I would always look away and got into more trouble.

  • Spiky Headed PO-TA-TO.

Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew.

  • wow man i'm really happy to know that you exist. im an infj male too and i just moved away from my home in florida out to college in california by myself. i feel like im the only one i know like me, and i cant really survive without at least one close person. glad to know im not alone on my thoughts.

  • duuude if ur not happy be quick to change your situation. i'm infj male too and when I moved away from college I got super depressed. dont hesitate to transfer if u need a better situation.

  • Thanks for the courage to share your thoughts. I can tick the box for every point you made. I guess we are a rare breed. Our eyes are similar. Our preferences for experiences are similar. I have a feeling our experiences have a lot to do with past lives - if you believe that. The repetition creates a wave of attraction. We move with things we like. There's no such thing as chance huh. Again, thanks.

  • I'm an INFJ as well and I have noticed a trend in INFJ's with our eyes. Though you can't fully see it in a picture, but I think it's very obvious in this videos. I can read people pretty well right away as well and be right about it - it is definitely our intuition at work!! I just love watching these - thanks for posting!!

  • What is the look that you are talking about? I was told that I have mysterious eyes. I dont have a boyfriend because I have trouble knowing when someone is interested in me. Then when I figure it out, it's to late. I have very few friends because I have a hard time trusting people. Sometimes I wish that I was more outgoing. Because I enjoy being alone I force myself to interact with others. I also, do not like crowds. I can take or leave going to parties. Thoughts, comments or concerns?

  • I too am and Infj. I am also a type 5w6. Glad to know im not alone. Do yall get gut feelings that most of the time turn out right. Some say i'm cold and don't show emotions. But my emotions are kept inside and i process them alone. Do people call yall wierd sometimes? They also say they have a hard time reading me.

  • I'm infj too.

  • Being a INFJ is hard for me. Wish i could say but it would take me at least 2 hours to explain. Cut it short i have only meet at least 10 people i could say is not out to get me lol :).

  • I´m INFJ too!

  • Im an INFJ and I also can tell alot about people without even knowing them...

if I see someone I just kinda no what they are like or how they think and stufff...

    I cant explain it tho

so I think it is an INFJ thing :)

  • Oh yeah, the Extraverted feeling and sensing

with the Introverted intuition and thinking..

INFJ's are truly blessed with deep understanding *

  • Excellent video. You have more courage than I in sharing that. I just found out through a company test that I am INFJ. It sure helps to explain a lot about my difficulties through the years.

  • Wow! I love this video wuzzygonedoo! I just saw myself in a video. lol. I am also an infj. There actually a great site that you can join that will connect you with fellow infjs called personality cafe.Just go on google and search for the keyword personalitycafe. I met alot of my infj friends there and many more personalities. You can learn more about your personality as well as others. Just wanna help you out a fellow infj. Please add me there if you want to chat more. :)

  • Phrenology is now a pseudoscience btw.

  • Cheer up emo child. You shouldn't base all your miseries on a in-comprehensive test. This all goes back to the nuture vs. nature debate, and i think the environment plays a huge role on your personality. I did that test with different perspectives of my life, e.g first person, fly on the wall, even from my friends ; they all result in different outcomes. The way we act is dynamic and misunderstood. The test is nothing but a novel attempt. Human behavior is complex!!!!!!!!!

  • I think that over 2504 years of study of human behavior has come along way. And as you says "environment plays a huge role on your personality" It just depends on how much your mind will let it change you. Like if i was trying to be apart of a crowd of people and they would not let me join them then the crowd would not change me over time. Thats why INFJs like staying to themselfs because of our mind set we are not good in crowds= The environment of that crowd cant change a INFJ.

  • You are right...it is more of an INFJ-thing than a cultural adjustment. You've had a hard time, because we are "wired differently". You can't tolerate the shallow conversation of clubs and parties...meaningless dribble that lets people hide. We seek depth/meaning, not like the "everybody-please-like-me" crowd. Deep relationships are more important that the adulation of the roaring crowd. Hang in there. The big difference is in how we learn to accept ourselves and value our differences.

  • I'm INFJ male too. Thx for posting the vid - inspiring and informative. Comforting also to know someone else is similar to me.

  • And now I know why I have the issues that I do.

  • I just took the test for a job and I was an INFJ, too. I did a lot of reading, I am spot on--exactly. I feel exactly the same way you do.

  • I just found out TODAY that I'm an INFJ through a college test. Yikes!

  • I'm totally gonna post something.

    maybe tomorrow.

  • Nice, I think you do INFJ justice

  • Just a synopsis of me- people pleaser up to a point, nurse-midwife, artist(paint and decorate), single for the last 14 years, adore my children, and I am often mistaken for an extrovert as I do have to do public speaking for work.

  • You are right about the eye shape, I noticed it too. I need to figure out how to do the web cam so I can make my own INFJ video

  • i got this result too..

  • I am a female infj, who has two male infj friends. Although they are both brilliant and awesome people, and I sometimes feel that those guys understand me more than anybody on earth, I still have a hard time getting along with them, for two reasons. One, they think they are always right and will never just "agree to disagree." Two, they take absolutely everything personally. If I have to get off the phone to go do a paper, they are sure down inside I really am just sick of talking to them.

  • I am INFJ and have the same downward, sad eyes...I've always been struck by this when I meet someone. Thank you for sharing your video. I've just discovered this youtube space and feel kind of comforted by watching them.

  • yea you completely look like one with the sad downward eyes. Mom is also an INFJ

they ARE the rarest. She is an interesting person. There is a comparison with Jesus and an INFJ in some site

  • I looked at the other INFJ videos. You are right! The eyes are similar. That is so strange. What could cause that? I think the similarity is that we all have hooded eyes or "bedroom" eyes? Maybe it just seems that way?

  • I always think the infj develops that look by the constant tension between wanting to fit in with people and never really feeling quite understood.

But for whatever reason, I've been told all my life that I have "bedroom eyes". They aren't hooded or downturned, but they still have that sad, knowing look.

  • I am an INFJ woman. I am also able to read people fairly well.

One thing I noticed was how you mentioned music and movies. I can hear a song and match it to the movie it was played in. I am also moved by particular scenes in movies. I know for instance the exact scene and can mentally hear the song you are talking about in Ferris Buelller.

  • wow, thanks for posting this, you're like exactly like me except i'm a female, but i can relate to everything you're saying.

  • My husband and I both tested to be INFJ's while we were in college and I can relate to your feelings of never quite fitting in with everyone. I also agree with about picking up what I call "vibes" from people. We're usually correct too, although I've been off the mark once and a while. Also, I find it amusing that although INFJ's can be very compassionate and enjoy harmony, we may have pretty bad tempers when crossed, lol!

  • I am an INFJ as well, and resonated highly with what you had to say in this vid....

What is it about INFJ eyes? Can you describe this further? I find that for me other INFJs make excellent company, very intuitive, long term relationships.

It's very refreshing to meet another INFJ!

    Namaste

  • haha, I'm an INFJ as well, and I cry at really weird parts in movies where other people don't cry. however, the parts where other people cry I see as too cheesy.

  • @mymind1086 ahah sometimes i think that also

  • LOL = we're so alike

    INFJ

  • Thanks for sharing about yourself. I did find your comments very interesting. I would say I'm very similar in many ways too.

  • (CONT')

Exactly when the people we are around think of us in a 'certain' way, we like to make these people see us in a different way all of a sudden. I love when people tell me "Wow, I never thought you would do that!" or "I never saw you like that." I like to make people see me as a very open-minded person who can try anything, be flexible and be good at things they didn't expect me to do, to say, to think, or to be.

Anyone else share this in common? How do you guys like to surprise people?

  • I am the same! I recently started studying again meting new people and anyway nothing special but everybody seems overly surprised when they I finally do something. I don't understand it and it almost makes me blush, I guess people just don't know what to think of us.

  • (CONTINUED) I could say that it is all MODERATE. I have taken a couple steps out of my bubble, but I have not gone to the complete opposite extreme, if you know what I mean. But focusing on the fact that I was not like this at all before, and I refused to be in social situations most of the time, now I look back and read about INFJ personality, and the one thing that I find EXTREMELY interesting, is the fact that WE (INFJs) love to surprise people.

  • You mentioned that you are not in social settings often. I am an INFJ, and all through-out highschool I used to say that I would never drink and/or be found at a club, and just like you said, never thought of myself as a guy with his arm around girls. But a lot of this changed after I turned 21. I'm not going to tell you that now I am completely a different person who goes out and gets wasted or goes to a club every weekend, or hangs out with a LOTS of women. (see next comment)

  • I too am an INFJ male, and fine myself extremely in common with you and everything in an INFJ portrait. It's nice to meet or find more information on it and the people.

  • wow!! We have so much things in common! I completely agree with everything you said and even a little scary lol i made most of the same facial expressions you did when you were speaking, i look at myself as an infp but maybe I'm an infj,

  • how can i now what personality i have

  • (Continued...) at all of our similarities. And when you mentioned the INFJ's and the eyes, I literally yelled, "Yeah! The eyes!" I was thinking that while I was watching you before you even said it in your video. I really hope to hear back from you, and if you have the time, check out my videos. It will probably freak you out, because I basically discussed the same things as you.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Wow... the similarities between you and I are almost uncanny. I make INFJ videos as well, being an INFJ myself, and when I ran across your video, I was amazed. Every single thing you talked about I could completely relate to. Especially the way you talked, and laughed at yourself at some of the things you said. It really is strange. I'd love to talk to you one on one. I haven't really come across an INFJ that I could speak with on a personal level. I know we could definitely be amazed...

  • i'm enfp and my daughter is infj. she has the same facial expressions also. i was thinking the other day how lucky i was to have an infj kid. imagine if i had had an istj kid! it would be traumatised by my antics.

  • Hey, I think you are right about INFJs having a similar "look". I'm INTJ and I've noticed we do as well and it's slightly similar but maybe a bit less "mystical" looking or something??? More like daydreaming in an astute way.

  • I agree that there's some vague resemblance.

    -female INTJ

  • I like this video. I should hope for many more infjs to post videos of themselves! Thanks for posting. I'm just gonna say that I don't buy into the whole HSP thing, or, I don't think it should be a label. But I'm an infj also, and also a guy, and also a music lover! But I lean much toward the acoustic sound, rather than electronic. Also, your hair! Is it normal for infjs to have crazy hair? We can be crazy hair bro's.

  • Great vid! :D I'm an infj too and can really relate to what you're saying. I also make the same facial expressions when I'm speaking. :) Thanks for posting!
