  • the shiny side of the foil down. is that not right right?

  • Set the oven to 350 use a meat thermometer because every bird and oven cook differently - push the thermo thru the foil into the breast and run it up to 165, pull the foil and thermo and spread some butter on it and broil till brown and that's it. Maybe let it sit for a couple minutes to cool, but it will be brown and juicy. Any self respecting cook should have a meat thermometer. Let me know how it goes!

  • On the second step, when you cover it and put it back in the oven, How long dose it cook for and at what temp?

  • @MrDeadwart

It usually cooks for about an hour and a half at 350 degrees, but I don't time it - I use a meat thermometer that I pierce through the foil and cook it until it reaches 160 degrees - then I pull it out, baste and brown it for 5 more minutes until the temp reaches 170,the let it rest for 5-10 minutes (if you can stand it) then slice and serve. Thanks for watching!

  • Excellent Commentary and soundtrack! I will be using your recipe tomorrow! Thanks -Aaron

  • What's a jiffy pop?

  • i think its the knd of popcorn you pop with a stove instead of a microwave

  • lol.. you guy's must be young.. I am 43 and I grew up on Jiffy pop. It was a tin metal pan with a wire handle and was filled with popcorn. You shook it on top of the stove burner. When the popcorn popped the tin foil covering it unfolded like a fan. It ended up looking like a foil skull cap sitting in a pan.. It was good..
