  • thanx man, very well explained

  • Thank you very much! This really helped me with my school assignment. :)

  • Once again, awesome awesome video! You have a knack for explaining and doing demonstrations. Please keep it up! I will buy an Oscilloscope if I can find a used one for cheap, if for nothing else than to play with it. I'm sure I can find some great uses in automotive diagnostics though.

  • great video

  • How do I connect a signal

Generator to the scope & how does it help debug a fault in a circuit ? And is it possible to measure 230v AC straight from the wall outlet if I power the oscilloscope through an isolation transformer?

  • I enjoy watching this video. I love to have a oscilloscope at home. This device helps you to understand the properties of alternating current. There's a whole lot you can learn with the help of tools and a good teacher like you! You Tube Rules!!!

  • very educative video, thanks mate

  • thank you for this video, it helps me

  • very nice clear and easy to understand thanks very much

  • ...ma asteptam sa inceapa Salam sa ii ruineze osciloscopul :))

  • @ies213 The ground clip is a reference ground. So if you are troubleshooting a circuit the signal you are viewing on the oscilloscope has potential voltages + or - in reference to a ground in the circuit. Clip the ground clip to the ground of the circuit. This is only safe for you and your test equipment on low voltage circuits.

  • Great Video. Thank you for the Video.

  • Its a very good video made me understand the oscilliscope

  • Very good vid. Wished my instructor at devry tried as hard as you did to make it easier.

  • @lolopli1 good spelling!! ))

  • Great tutorial! Thank you, Sir.

  • i hav a question: if AC is changing polarity so frequently does it mean that in the power outlet the polarity keeps on changing? i.e. the positive pin become negative and vice versa 60 times in a second?

  • @fromAtheism2Religion Yes you will have +120 and -120 volts to the neutral wire 60 times per second.

  • That was an awesome video!

  • That was a good intro video, thanks and well done.

  • This is a good video and I want to know more about the 434 tektronix oscilloscope. I want to know what the slope level buttom does if you turn it?

  • the last bit with media player was pretty cool

  • loving your vids :)
