Fascinating! Doing things the old way is best. I'm wanting to make a little animated show, but I don't have all that stuff, and I'm useless at drawing. I'll have to use a mouse with a simple picture drawing program, which will make it even more difficult (if I ever do it). I'd just use a 'slide show movie maker' to make the pictures into video. I draw digitally, and I use a tablet. The one I use is a bit larger than Ed's, so good for starters. I got mine from PC world, I think. Really any large computer/hardware shop has them. You can also buy them online, just search Bamboo Tablet or visit the Bamboo site.

There's many kinds, so have a look :)

PS: Tip- If you start animating/drawing, but don't want to spend loads of money on photoshop, there's a free program called GIMP, you can download. =)

instead of using a usb flash drive you could just buy a router and plug it into your ethernet cable and hook it up yo both your computers.that way they'll both hav the internet and you can transfer the files over a network...

i use movie maker too...that same one in fact to make amvs. when i tell ppl i pause the screen and capture it frame by frame, then upload them all to movie maker instead of downloading raws....i mean, it's much easier to work with. time consuming sometimes. but MUCH easier

Mine's on it's last legs itself. I would advise to be careful when you buy because most tablets available now are only compatible with windows vista (ie they won't work on xp). I'm not sure the deal if you use a mac. good luck hunting though :)
