  • Text HOTMODEL to 77948

  • I've been watching too much Arrested Development lately, I could swear Tobias is teaching me about non-uniform rational B-splines...

  • @feoring Just squirt a little frosting down your throat

  • 2:12 with CC show Al Qaeda tool lol

  • @Danilo552 HA. never noticed that. Its auto-generated CC. sooooo... awesome!

  • @slorpthegillman heheeh xD

  • Why does no one use the 2011 version on their tutorials?

  • @Darkseeker109 Because their videos are 3-4 years old :(

  • @Darkseeker109 I don't know if you've noticed, but the new versions of Maya programs are kinda... buggy. Especially with those people who don't have a kickass graphics card. But hey, no worries, it's still the same program so you still learn a tad from this guy. :D

  • good job

  • when you convert it from polygons to nurbs you get to many vertexes and faces is there any way to reduce it?

  • i like the subtitles hahaa

  • This is a good video. But everyone should know some useful tools. You can load the picture (straightened) into an image plane (orthographic only) and use it as a direct reference. If you draw the one side edge of the bishop using a curve tool you can use the revolve tool to make the entire shape including the base in one operation.

  • 08:20 "All right Kurt Cobain Mississippi's have to rebuild something later on tonight" Haha! So awesome :)

  • This is an excellant video :)

  • haha the subtitles... cheers...

  • very good teacher. thank you

  • but we can create such type of toy..etc,..using CV cure tool..

  • whaaaat version of MAYA is this??

  • @Larssongu 2010

  • Thanks alot! this is what I have been trying to find for the past days ( creating the actual surface between the circles )

    Keep making vids!

  • ur a good teacher

  • Thank you, you saved my life :D

  • Is this an issue with my computer or with Maya?

  • your resolution of your monitor is probably too small.

  • Um, this isn't related to the video but maybe you can help me. I'm running MacBook Pro with OSX 10.5.7 and things in Maya keep getting cut off the screen. eg. when I open the menu lighting/shading > assign new material, the top 5 items are off the top of the screen - it starts at ocean shader, but if I pull the lighting/shading menu off and open assign new material from the new window, the menu items are smaller and I can see the whole menu - starting at anisotropic. What's causing this?

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have trial version and I had no idea how to model, but now it starts to make sense.

But I wonder how I can see my History? I don't have that window showing it...
