im going through this now with my 4 year old.he had adhd and they think autisim.its been hell our family has fell apart.i need help.i live n a small town not much around here to help him.could you tell me some behaviors about your son and how he was dignoised please thank you
. But meeting with other people in your situation can be very supportive- (cont.)your child does not have to have been diagnosed to go to an autism support group- sometime the school district will have one. Best wishes!
@angelarock29 i know i wasnt asked, but i think i do have at least 1 piece of advice that may help with his potential autism: when he does something wrong; do not so much tell him he does something wrong, but try and explain how he can do it the right way and focuse on the things he does right (to prevent him from getting depressed).
Thanks for all the sweet comments. I like to see all the other Auties & Aspies on YouTube doing their thang. I just love to hear my son giggle. It makes me feel so good, he is such a happy kid and I am so grateful for that. I love my babies! ;o) I'll try & get another vid of Ryan up again soon. School just started, so lots of chaos right now!
i used to do that to the sofa too... well.... until i did it one day and heard "CRRRACK" and realized i had broken one of the sofas arm rests. soooo i just inconspicuously walked out of the room. my alibi was absolutely genius though... i believe it was along the the lines of "i didn't do it, it just happened!". GO HAPPY RYAN!!
p.s. i still do stand up on the sofa, its addictive! we had to buy a new one, so i have a new one to break!
hi my son has adhd and destroyes every thing which is possible for him. we are really very upset. He is too dangerous against his younger sister. he is 4 years old
hmmm i do that to the couch too (i have aspergers) ... my mum always looks at me funny when I sit on the arm rest. and I like saying bunny rabbit that way too. Hi Ryan!
I have Autism, but not ADHD. Adorable little boy, though. And a very cute video. God Bless!

look up the "CHAT" - this checklist helped me convince the dr. Also look up Autism Society of America and Autism Speaks

btw, i too have ADHD too, I'm 16 now, and i STILL jump on the sofa, parents don't like it much...
you're completely right about the "when you have an autism/adhd kid, only buy cheap furniture." thing xD
