  • my first car was a hpi sprint really didnt know what i had nice car for the price

  • Will a 1/10 truck body fit.

  • Sweet ride mine should be here soon!! A friend said to make it a better drifter I should move the motor and tranny to the front do u agree?

  • I want your ring!

  • I have heard that the rear belt likes to tear itself apart on the hpi's sprint

  • my sprint 2 flux is coming after 7 days

  • Eh?

  • Heey which one is better: sprint 2 flux or sprint 2 drift??

  • @Northon8 well the drift is brushed and made for drifting and the flux is more fore racing so it depends on what kind of style driving you like but id go with the flux

  • Comment removed

  • ford is cooooool

  • Your hat is crooked.

  • Comment removed

  • ya the flux isent the drift one the sprint 2 drift is lol thats why there was to much grip, lol

  • i just bought the car waiting for two more days tell its at my house love ur vids tho

  • Awesome! can't wait to see the progress.

  • You know medic is excited when you can hear his Canadian accent:) normally it's not noticeable but in this case.. He's full blown "eh?" ^_^

My favorite episode by far because I enjoy it so much when he gets a new toy lol:)

  • What's better sprit to drift or sprit to flux for a drift car?

  • nvm don't listen to me sorry :-P

  • u do know that the HPI Sprint 2 Flux is NOT a drifter car it is A SPRINT CAR, sprint cars r ment for speed only that is y it goes 53+ mph and that is y the tires r soft compound tires.................

  • i have the traxxas gymkana ken block car and its the bomb

  • why didt u get the sprint 2 drift

  • i m driving a sprint 2 with a better bl motor and alu parts ( who cares)

    what i want to say:

If u want to race with it use other tires

don´t forget to be careful with the belts

that means just driving on asphalt.( small stones are like Horror for belts)

i thought my longer belt was too loose

you can make it tighter ( i think u noticed it)

  • ok so im looking at maybe getting this car how good is this car i would think alot of rocks would get into it plz help thanks

  • dont use pvc man use t-drift tires they help out a lot

  • I got the same car for x mas and idnt know how to bind it please help I can't even drive it I read the directions and followed every step and I just dnt know wat I'm doing I am new to hpi I always purchase traxxas please help!!!!!

  • i am thinking of ordering the HPI E10 Falkon tire, is it a good desent drifter?

  • When r u gonna show us your drifting. that way we can give you tips on were your struggling.

  • awsome good luck drifting mate

  • when will up upload a video of you drifting??

  • put slik fome tiers

  • Whats the update on this, have you got it to drift well? I was thinking of getting a sprint 2 drift, but if the flux can drift i would consider buying this instead.

  • i always thought the cup racer looked cool..

  • It is called a sprint car because it is meant for track racing not drifting

  • you know from seeing the madbash video on that icy road i think you would be a very good drifter.. very nice vid btw, Cheers

  • Sorry I am using my iPad and it spells for me dbox not Xbox is what I meant

  • I have a hpi Xbox brand new never opened I would be willing to trade for a tekin 35t motor you have on your shelf if you are interested

  • BOO FORD! CHEVY!!!

  • Dude to help you out I have been in the drift scene for about 5 years and the best place to get some really nice stuff for drifting is

    1 genkie dori rc drifting

    2 rc race drift Japan

You will like some of the stuff they have in stock.

  • I am a hardcore drifter and also run a sprint 2 and am a major fan of the Sushi ABS drift tires :D

    My major suggestions would be:

-Titanium springs all around, i run the hpi orange

-look up the tutorial on cutting the bulkheads. idk if the newer sprints have the same ones but it will save you belts in the long run.

-Lock the rear diff and look into a ball or one-way for the front

    - head over to drc central looking for setup tips

  • yeah!!! yur awsome!! go ford!!!

  • ill take the battery

  • hey medic get the rc d box from hpi you can look them up on youtube and youll find out how they work basically when you turn the car to the leftor the right the d box maks the car turn the oppisite way so that when you o around a corner the momentum from the car makes the dbox turn the wheels in the oppisite direction

  • @hiphopcroaks24 do not do this. it isn't drifting and will be so much more fun and rewarding when you learn to do it yourself. also if you show your chassis to any drifter and you have a gyro you will be laughed at.

  • sushi are just PVC pipe they work ok and there cheap but they are harder to use or at least they were for me

  • @munstermanhi they are actually ABS pipe. much more flexible than pvc and offer better grip than pvc. plus it's black

  • GOOOO FORD BLUE OVAL TAKES THE CAKE!!

  • Yaaaa FORD is amazing MUSTANG rules!!!!

  • "Trying to break the rear end free" Yeah, thats what she said...

  • Great car for drift, a friend of mine have one and i sugest this chassi.

I have a Team Magic E4 Sedam and both are very stable and good for drift.

Here is a video of both cars running ;)

HPI -> Red rims * TM -> White rims

Look for: "4drift sessão treinos" on youtube

Enjoy Drift like we do ;)

  • Ey man! Iv ben folowing your work. Grate stuff! Grat that you got yourself a drifter to! ;)

I made 3 video responses. Take a louckse ma be of some inspiration ;) You realy whant to gear your car for caounter sterr. Makes the car drive realy scale, but its a litle harder do drive do but its so mouth more funn ;) Thanks for all the good vids! Feals like we'r there whit you XD

  • im lookin for a good drift car gota traxxas rally lots of fun but lookin fora whole lot better

  • fords rock I have a ford maverick woo hoo

  • and all that shit xD

  • can you you do video on the lipos im really cunfused on them i need some help i dont know what to by of how to use them

  • when is the next trail video coming out? :) hope to see one soon

  • hey i subed sub back if u want too i am very soon to getting my camera fiexed so yep.. and i am very soon to getting a couple of rc things and i have a question how do you customize your beginning of your video like that i would apprecaite and answer thanks!

  • Things i hate leaving controllers on medic you left yours on the entire video

  • For some even cheaper tyres than you purchaced, buy a length of 50mm pvc pipe.

Cut 4x 25mm slices and you have a set of VERY cheap drift tyres.

You may need to add some tape to the rims for a snug fit depending on the rim

    and brand of pvc pipe.

These are very slippery but there cheap and fun!

  • i bet medic has a hangover

  • Never brake in a drift you will spin out and dont go full throtle all the time. :) also a high response servo is the best !

  • AWESOME!!! I do my drifting in my s15 though, scaler for rc drifter for real car

  • hey medic is the exceed rc max stone a good crawler? I know you said dont be cheap because you will be sorry. I think the truck looks good for a newb ass newb like me.

  • wanna see some drift action medic. smashing that mustang would have been a great laugh.

  • for the sprint 2 u want a HPI 86042 Front One-Way Differential 32T

and front universal dog bones .. u can lock the rear diff .. but its not needed..

  • /watch?v=gOEkYOHoeac this could help you..

  • Tip: the more negative toe angle, the better. :D

plus, it makes your ride look cooler.

  • Sweet, I ve been drifting for a while, it's fun. The more the car looks real the better, it also helps to get counter steering, once you break it loose than feather the gas and you'll flow throughout the corners

  • have dj, I just saw the redcat rockslide super crawler and was wondering if the the man (you) could do a review on it. it looks awesome and not a bad price. Thanks

  • get a different body and rims i do own a tt01 form tamiya and a tamiya high lift

  • hi wt difference dose a belt drive make to drive shafts i dont knw if u coverd it ? [= thx

  • @djmedic2008 i had the dbox and occasionly started to take it out just to see if i could do it . and i could after just 2 weeks . its also a good starter upgrade for on road cars

  • hey medic i dont have i sprint 2 but i was told to cut a hole under the diff to rocks can get out and also wheres your epic camber aint no drifter without your -7 degree camber

  • nice new ride i like how you are back into drifting medic

  • take the front bumper of the fom

  • The wall charger is useless anyway.

  • why you edit video?? my opinion only, but i liked your unedited versions youve done the last few times lol. but i understand the reasons to edit some spots. good vid. Rockin car. i want one. lil out of my price range though lol. maybe next year.

  • Yo check out Team Drift Machine

  • Deans pulg on battery, Tamiya on Charger. thatll work perfectly lol

  • oh never mind i should have finished the vid

  • did you see the battery has deans but the wall charger has tamayia

  • The sushi drift tires are 26mm. They are ok; you can not glue them; they slide on the wheel. I ordered them when I built my drifter. After purchasing them I was a little disappointed so I ordered new tires and wheels. And things became much better. I will send you a picture on your facebook page; of my drifter all the work on paint was done by me. I think you will like it.

  • Charger has Tamiya and battery has Deans? odd...

  • Hey Medic Bout time You joined the Drift side. You can lock your rear diff by cutting some fuel tubing into long wedges or just use plasticine to bung up the gears. helps the back end kick out.

  • exceed has some great drift tires and you might want to check out their drift gyros. check out it at nitrorcx .com

  • nice medic i have a tamiya tt01 with a 19 t

  • Yeah Bro LEDS would look soo sick.

  • HAS ANYBODY EVERY GAVE YOU ANY RIGGS FOR FREE BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE A STOCK MAISTO RC CRAWLER BUT YOURS ARE SO AWSOME

  • you left the cuntroler on

  • a great thing to do is befor you go into a corner tap reverse fast and jam the stering to the direction you want to go once you are spun then turn the other way and slowly u should go to strait. but you neeeeeeeed to put LEDs on it it makes it look AWESOME!!!

  • I have a friend who has the same drift car. He just stuck those on-road tires on the cooler went we went to the track and that helped a bit for sliding, until he burned the treads off. Hope this help you.

  • Its not just hpi, every company does that. The didn't give me a charger or a brushless esc

  • pvc tyres

  • My opnion: the exceed rc driftstar is better for the price remember thats MY opinion

  • go to a harware store with your rims buy a chunk of black pvc pipe cut them to size install on rims instant cheep drift tires!!!

  • Chevy is better!!

  • Check out my channel drift car loose's tire. home made drift car b4 I put n vxl-3s in it in that vids it has xl5 n Titan 12t in it

  • Be careful with cheap rims the break and shatter on first run I made my on drift car out of original traxxas E4-tec its belt driven has great response gave it a lift kit and put nitro diffs in it plus VXL-3s system in it its proof you don't need gyros and stuff for a drift car its called actually knowing how to drive a real car and drift it the main thing is counter steering if you can't catch the consept of it think and try till you get it and you'll love it and medic love the videos n

  • I recently bought a Sprint 2 also and it is a pretty good car for what its worth. Looking forward to more Medic.

  • Make a Movie!!!!!

  • drift!!!!! i have a Sprint 2 flux minor changes and u will be sideways

  • Hmm!

  • toy car is cool.

about drift wheels, there is something better than wrapping rubber with electrical tape is very simple and costs only 50 cents or less per wheel and the refrain is better than the factory wheels.

I'll make a video about it.

  • hi great vid. wanted to ask some advice i have a tamiya twin detonator got it about 5 years ago maybe she getting on a bit now need to get a new battery for it but was wondering what one to get as it has the twin motors which are pretty powerfull. it also has a vega v3 esc currently has the white battery connector.

  • Drifting is cool!:)but Off Road driving is still king :)

  • Who cares if it a ford it really a hpi

  • hey nice vid!

tip: make the front motor conversion!!

ask if u dont know how

  • I think Im in for a lot of great fun. This is an evolving hobby and Im loving it. Thnx Aaron, great vid.

    John D. Guelph. Ont.

  • i had aan exeed rc car it was compleat crap, the servo for the steering broke on me the first time i went into a tight turn rele fast (going down a steep hill) and i made the turn but lost my left steering, but i still have the car and ima prolly rebuild it or get a belt drivin one, look up counter steer rc on youtube if u wanna make it look more realistic but other than that nice car

  • Tip: when you order rims/tyres they arnt the scale to what you ask for as i bought some 1/10 scale blue wheels and they were far too small so make sure you measure the mm (milimetres) to double check :)

  • @PeugeotvsSaxo GOOD ADVICE for all the NOOBIES LiKE ME! Thanks Saxo!

  • @djmedic2008 your welcome need anymore info just contact me i carnt tell you everything but i know a lot about 'em

  • im 39 i have Midnight Pumpkin Chrome edition

    TL-01 Alloy Edition

    Tamiya Mini retro M-01

im single and love my toys lol

Electrical tape and Duct tape but seriously Drifting RC is Quite lame but im shit at it n all lol

  • yo screw it lol love the glasses im into Crawler now DAM!!

  • Do you know y29rai (yt . com /user/y29rai) he's the best RC drifters I know!

  • Hpi racing sells something called the d box it iis a gyro stabilizer that is ment for drifting

  • Sweet think ima have to give this a try!

  • Nice short video. Drift tires are a big must as we talked about that and you mentioned my name. Anyways will keep this short and talk to you later, Get those tires and enjoy the chassis my friend

  • A gyro drift stabilizer would help too.. I dont know how much easier it makes it, but ive watched a lot of vids of them in use and they seem to work fairly well..

  • Fellow RC ADDiCTS, CLiCK THE LiKE BUTTON for Exploring Different Types of RC!!

  • @djmedic2008 Make a Overkill video

  • medic loosen up the droop screws so it will come up in ride height. take the lower shock mounts and move them in and that will help stiffen up the shocks. tighten up the belt tensioner. the diffs can be filled with fluid. i use 100k in the rear and 60k up front. dial in 1 degree rear camber and 0 degree up front. thats a pretty good starting point.

  • @HKSDRIFT Thanks for the advice my friend.. im definitely learning more about these rigs!

  • ive been drifting the sprint 2 for about 3 years now. the ball diff can be converted into a locked diff for the rear and makes the car's predictability more stable along with the front one way diff. Check my mountain drift video out. I use the hard rubber drift tires to drift faster than the rest of you!

  • @kennymanz12b those 1 way diffs are not easy to find.. everyone is sold out! lol

  • @djmedic2008 Do what I use to do. Pack the diff full with a thick grease. It will tighten it up, almost like a limited slip. it helps with the one wheel spinners ;)

  • @djmedic2008 hey medic sushi drift tires are pretty awesome! they last quite a long time. Also try super driftech tires there pretty awesome but not that wide :)

  • @djmedic2008 me personally don't like the front one-way diffs... it is supposed to give a 'handbrake pull' feeling, but on tight tracks, it is horrible. on long tracks, it is horrible. on the short ones, it is unpredictable, and on long tracks, you don't want the power to stop flowing. I don't know, maybe it is me, or maybe it is like when you start with counter-steer drifting for the first time. you just gotta get used to it? =)

  • anything you need i have three more channels an im gonna sub to you on each!!!!!!!!!!!!!! talk to you later medic. p.s loving the vids keep em going

  • awesome! drifting looks well cool! :D

  • sorry didnt read the discription! but keep doin it cuz i check your channel everyday hoping for more videos. when i post a video ill send it to u about my car. just like yours :-)

  • @hardyboy316 AWESOME Bro!! Im trying to branch out a little into new areas. RC is fun, and SO Expansive.. I wouldnt be doing the hobby justice if I didnt spread my wings.. and cover more topics! Im gunna have a blast with this rig.. and Im glad you will be here to watch along with me! Thanks for commenting :-)

  • u ramed into stufff cuz its a sprint to flux not a sprint to drift or an e10 drift

  • @hardyboy316 yes my friend.. we seemed to have established that several times already :) In fact, its in the description as well :) Thanks though> if I didnt already know, your comment would have been super helpful!

  • Yes, no need for motor, but if you want to go faster, ultimo dift type 1 is awesome :) Oh, you can try puting a motor in front ant battery in the back, that is awesome

  • @SuperRookieboy IM SO STOKED to have FUN!

  • If you Look for tires you can use PVC drainpipe. It is not expansive like the original drifttires.

  • If you want more slide to your drifts, a good home tyre solution is pvc plumbing pipe. I use it when im drifting my rc's, both nitro and electric. I get crazy angles and hold i drift longer.

  • @TheNoname541 thats what the sushi drift tires are! I can hardly wait to get them!

  • @TheNoname541 IM on it bro.. the sushi drift are actually pvc with bevelled edges. Should be awesome!

  • At 6:31 thats what she said

  • @1BadSammy TOTALLY! Bahahahaha! Good one

  • How do u make so much money

  • @boomboxor12345678910 Im rich with Life experience ;)

  • Don't you hate when you get a bug in your r/c butt, for a vehicle that is in the wrong season? I was seriously itching to be doing some on-road the other day! Too bad it's 15 degrees outside!

  • @TheresGabe Gabe.. thats why I have a Large Concrete basement.. lol. You gotta explore the addiction when ya got it!

  • You could have bought a yokohama or tamiya TA05-VDF for that kinda money, lots of shiny alloy and im sure you would have some spare electrics to put in it instead of buying an RTR. Saying that, you get a lot of stuff for the money

  • @dannyniccy Ahhh, well.. i coulda bought many things with that kinda scratch.. but Im happy with my choice. So much fun, so many choices.. :)

  • Yo medic, 4WD drifting is the thing of the past. Now is Countersteer drifting. And 2WD drifting is on the way.

  • @r1tech cant be that far in the past.. im just starting! Lol.. this is my first real car to play with.. so Ill be sure to expand and check out the 2wd if its fun!

  • great video as usual Medic, have you seen/checked out the Eurgle steering gyro/Doctor Drift it's meant to help drifting so you don't over compensate on the turns, and I love how some think drifting rc's is new, I was drifting my schumacher sst 10+ years ago lol, look forward to future vid's on it

  • @rcninjastudio Im gunna have to make a special effort to check it out bro! thanks for the tips!

  • Lovely shell

  • @TheEliteRc isnt it though? Simply beautiful for a stock shell

  • should we call you DjDrifter instead of Djmedic and i thought you were a chrysler 300 man lol

  • @ecorey45 a chrysler 300 would be soooooo heavy to drift! Lol

  • 6 people Is Madman Looks like NFS most wanted :D

  • @tazobombora 6 people that are bummed they are not having fun in the RCSparks Studio

  • no need for front motor conversion. becaus if you do, you will need weight at the back. You can just buy some t-drift tires. Drifting is verry much about body, so get a new one, like skyline r35 or 350z. Lrp ultimo drift sysem would be great. Sand down the steering bump stops for more anglezl. MOST IMPORTAINT: LOCK THE DIFFS!!!!!

  • @NoGripEd Yes, im seeing that locked Diffs is a VERY important thing to do! I would like to understand the purpose of it though.. super slip, im thinking!

  • @NoGripEd Diff will be locked! No need for me to change the motor yet.. I wanna understand the rig before I think about changing it. Good advice you give!

  • Why do you always type in caps but make the i's small??

  • @PixelIsSick do you know anyone else that does it? Question answered :-)

  • My cousin just bought a drift car like 2 weeks ago and hes already modded it. New tires, new battery, new ESC, new body! LoL nice drifter, cant for it in action
