  • I love your videos the way they are! They're as natural and varied as you might be and feel day to day, and that's awesome. I think it's sweet to have some more artsy videos as an outlet and way to express that passion, but I also think its great to see more candid, personal videos like this one too. I think people subscribe because they connect with who you are, and what you have to say. So you'll always be on track as long as you're true to yourself. You're genuine and that's admirable! I'm a

  • I like the videos of your life. When you're just doing your thing. Grocery shopping. Making lunch. Etc. What do you do when you are hungry and need a snack and have nothing on you? Just basic stuff.

  • Whitney I would love some technology tip from you, like healthy apps or tips that may be useful for vegans , or maybe vegan bloggers? :)

  • I like you just as you are! That is what drew me in. That is why I asked you do you work? I am not into fancy videos just real ppl talking about real stuff!!

  • I really like the videos where you just talk about your thoughts, share what you're eating, etc. Basically, I find your perspective on life and goals for yourself so positive and inspiring that they help guide me on my path. Essentially, I like watching/reading everything you do!

  • My husband and myself have no one who's vegan in the family except my sister and her husband. I'm in WA state and she's in TX. The rest of the family doesn't get veganism, and it's kind of a topic I don't push on anyone. They know to ask me if they are interested. It's refreshing to hear from a more experienced vegan. You have a very soothing voice! :) I like your recipe videos and one of my sisters lives in SF so I like the reviews, too.

  • I love the weekly round-up videos. Very professional and concise, gives lots of info for me to check out. This is inspirational on many levels.

  • I most enjoy your candid un-edited, un-polished videos. The content, not the form, of your videos is what keeps me watching. This video is a perfect example. It doesn't matter if it's filmed with a phone, in fact that adds character and interest. It's fun that you do those candid spontaneous videos in all different settings and lightings. It's fun to see all the different settings/lightings/moods. I hope you don't go too commercial/flashy; that would be disappointing.

  • There is no one doing this in the UK, so i find your videos, blog etc extremely interesting. It also makes me jealous as in the states you have so many more vegan products, restaurants...!

Being so far away I am mainly interested in reviews of products I'm able to ship over, lifestyle hints/tips, vegan & eco friendly beauty / hair / fashion advice. But I still watch/read most of your work because you are so interesting, easy to watch & just come across as a lovely friendly person!!

  • Maybe you could put a donation incentive button on your blog/website and put those people into a monthly drawing. Would help cover production costs. We'll never get sick of you!

  • I really love "5 Things" type of vidoes... 5 things to do with kale, 5 reasons to go vegan, 5 great sources for protein, 5 great vegan blogs...etc.

  • I personally really enjoy your restaurant reviews, recipe videos, and the things you were putting on the "whataveganeats" channel. And I also tend to like your journal-type entries, they feel very authentic--like you're just conversing with a friend if that makes any sense. Can't wait to see what you come up with in the future!

  • I really enjoy your videos which show home cooked meals. I don't like the packaged food reviews since they are expensive, often "snack food" and not really Eco friendly (bagged kale chips, for example). Keep the videos short and sweet. Keep up the awesome work :-)

  • I love watching your videos because I live in a place where being vegan is pretty uncommon. I love watching the videos where you give tips, good books to read, podcasts to listen to, and great, healthy vegan food to try! You are truly an inspiration and whenever I see one of your videos on my youtube I get so excited to watch! Thanks for everything that you do and thanks for taking the time to create such wonderful, inspiring videos for vegans who need them!

  • My fav videos are the action ones, you in the Apple store eating a piece of dulse, and drinking vega from a thermos, and explaining what those products are and where you got them. Also in a recent one you had gotten home late, grabbed Kimcha on a whole wheat pita, eating as you preparied some Quinoa. So I love seeing you in the midst of eating/cooking, and also love when you show the product and say a bit about what it is, where to get it, etc. these are the ones that help me the most.

  • I enjoy listening to a vegan talk, because in real life I get so overwhelmed by the anti-vegans... I guess I need this kind of video to get back on track and stay true to myself. I enjoy all of your videos, but particularly where you share your thoughts on some issue, or bring up information about stuff that I perhaps didn't know about before, or could use reminding. :) The reviews aren't that applicable for me since I live in Sweden and I doubt we have the same products here. Just rock on ok!

  • @kittensandtheglitz Wow, you just said exactly how I feel! (: ps. I'm from Denmark (;

  • I loved the weekly round ups. I like when you just talk about what's on your mind as well. The cleanse videos were a little boring but I still watched them. Maybe start posting more information oriented vids for new subscribers who are interested in veganism but still don't know how to go about it. Maybe do a day in the life vid?

  • I love your videos, i'm from Mexico and i don't know any vegans, and a lot of people think i'm a freak when i explain them what it is. I like a lot your recipes, because sometimes i don't know what to eat, and those videos give me a lot of ideas. And the weekly round ups too. :)

    Thank you for doing this.

  • Snap! Dreamofscotland.

  • Aloha Whitney! I enjoy your videos for the inspiration value and I especially love that you live in one of my favorite cities. So, I guess my favorite types of videos are your out and about in SF veg*n friendly restaurants, shops, etc.I'm planning a food tour with a friend of mine based on several of your recommendations. Looking forward to more of your amazing content.

  • I'm a recent subscriber and I really can't remember what video you had that made me subscribe but I do like your reviews of things. I'm from Texas and would love to see you make a vegan biscuits and gravy recipe.

  • totally right... I don't have anyone like you in my life. I absolutely love your videos. They're simply inspiring. I really liked your weekly roundup videos. It's always good to get new input. I haven't gone fully vegan - YET :) but I wanna gather more information and your channel and simply YOU help me so much with that :)

  • i love you

  • I love all your videos! You have changed my life. I don't have any vegetarian or vegan friends besides my husband who has started this wonderful journey with me. I have learned so much from you. Since the start of 2012, I have been 100% no animal products and you have made it very easy to make the transition. Without the information that you have shared with us, I would not be able to do this as easily. So thank you. Keep it up, any style video is fine with me.

  • @mrsmurry1 Nice :) Hang in there! I've been vegan for a year and about 3 months so I believe you can do it too!

  • I like your restaurant reviews, book reviews and cookbook reviews where you try out one of the recipes. And you described me when you talked about people who live in unsupportive cities and who are not surrounded other vegans/eco-friendly people. I mostly watch your videos to be reminded that people who are as passionate about the environment as I am actually exist!

  • I appreciate all of the hard work that you put into making your videos. You helped me get through a ver tough time in my life. I enjoy anything that you post-- especially the videos featuring vegan food products, cooking, and restaurant reviews. Thanks! Hugs

  • I don't know a single vegan in my life, so I turn to youtube for inspiration...its always nice knowing youre not alone in something :) I would like more recipe videos and spiritual related videos! :-) love you whitney! thank you for everything...youre one of my favorite people to watch here!

  • I really like the videos you post when you are walking, waiting for a bus, sitting by your computer sipping tea, etc. It makes the moment authentic and connected to real life; proves you aren't a vegan robot (haha). As for content, I enjoy learning about anything whether it's related to product, exercise, recipe, inspiration, fashion, or health care. I have no veg friends that live near me so the internet is my source of strength and communication. I absorb it all!

  • I love just listening to you talk about your lifestyle, the vegan things that are available and that you love. Granted sometimes it sucks, because there's a lot of things you guys have in the States that we don't have in Canada (at least as far as I know!). But for me, who doesn't have a lot of fellow vegan friends to talk to and to get mutually excited about vegan stuff it's definitely cool to watch your videos and experience the passion you have for veganism!

  • I love what you do already, you have been an inspiration and I would not be able to go through my vegetarian to vegan transition. I love your product recommendations as well as your weekly round ups.

  • LOVE!! i think that definitely more tips and tricks about how to stay vegan, im vegan as of 3 days! and im really scared ill relapse (haha) i have been trying to stay vegan fully, but i keep forgetting when i see cheese, and then go back to being vegetarian. I have ben reminding myself that I shldnt have milk and eggs be such a big crutch, its really eye opening to see that i used to have dairy/eggs in evrythg... that and animal cruelty have been keeping me veg anythg else i shld thnk about tho?

  • Your weekly round ups are amazing. I for one don't have a single other vegan friend. My friend who became vegan right before me quickly went to being vegetarian and now eats game meat all the time. I live in a large city in Alberta Fort MCMurray, but we only have one health store and it's mostly supplements and spiritual books and stones. We don't have a farmers or whole food stores or anything. I am very fortunate to have a saveonfoods which s pretty good about ordering thins in if I need them

  • thank you for putting your effort and time in your blog.

  • I love the videos when you simply chat into the camera - like this one. Vegan budget videos are great. Finally, it's always fun when you are doing restaurant reviews alone or w/ your sister - Owen - or your friends. I subscribe b/c I can learn from you and I don't have any vegans in my life - outside of those I am 'virtual' friends w/.

  • I really loved the weekly round ups! Or even a monthly round up would be great :)
