  • are these guys a christian band

  • So fucking good

  • This album is the best download i've ever made off of iTunes

  • I CANT FIND THIS ALBUM ANYWHERE HELP! not itunes. im part of the reason SOPA is scary

  • ELITIST SHREDS. THE END. THE OFF TIMING MADE MY PANTS MELT OFF.

  • It doesn't matter genre this is considered. We could be critical of every tiny point in this, but this is some of the only music this heavy and technical that makes me feel spiritually connected to whatever it is considered truth.

  • 1:20 - 1:50 is simply an over-bearing sense of orgasms to both the auditory nerve and your stomach. totally racks my brain of pure awesome.

  • i wasnt really getting at any of that, more and more people are finaly awakening and realizing the truth vibrations within them, like terence mckenna said, there is a force on earth that has boot strapped itself to matter to bring it to higher levels, and as we open our awareness our artistic abilities as the collective human mind grow exponentialy more complex and creative, everything is advancing so fast and its an amazing time to be alive during such vast changes.

  • People who have not opened their minds have had it instilled in their minds that this music is "evil" and "hateful" and yet I look at every song on MTV is about sex, money, and weed. Songs like this bring a poetic side of lyrical structure and just cuz they scream apparently it's evil. Fuck that, from music like this I've expanded my vocabulary and learned to voice my opinion easier. Go ahead, listen to Wiz Kalifa and believe that you're any better as a human being cuz you "swag." They'll learn.

  • @Onedreamtolive whats so bad about weed? \m/ swag out bros ha

  • Alex <3

  • BACK TO life

  • I like a lot. found this through last disaster. A good day in searching for decent music!

  • i wasn't very impressed with fracture, but this is much much more enticing. very good shit i must say

  • @stokamachoke No sir, *As I Lay Dying.

  • this band is amazing. sick talent

  • The way the guitarists just bounce off one another - absolutely unique talent there.

  • I wouldn't have noticed until a friend of mine pointed out but this singer sounds like Tim from As I Lay Dying quite a bit.

  • does anyone notice progressive bands writing more and more about light, energy, and aliens?

  • @evaninboots sure do. really started with the faceless didnt it?

  • @evaninboots Strap in. We're in for quite the ride.

  • @evaninboots Haha I've been thinking that too! Born of Osiris and The Contortionist have the same theme; they even have some kind of space-like album cover.

  • @evaninboots I actually have noticed that, I'm glad you noticed. There's a reason for it, you know. Research ascension 2012. Pole shift. Spiritual awakening. Activation of the pineal gland. To name a few. Something major is happening, and something even more major is going to happen.

  • @evaninboots All the best bands talk about this stuff, it's a REAL message. The Faceless. Veil of Maya. Born of Osiris. Aristeia. Elitist. Cynic. Lifeforms. Periphery. Karnivool. And alot more.

  • @ScrotyMcBoogerballz On hat note, you should probably check out my music ;)

  • @TerraPulse that*

  • @evaninboots AHH!!!! VOLUMES!!!!

  • @evaninboots That does sound interesting. I know the faceless wrights about reptilians in the planetary duality album haha. But they aren't prog,

  • @evaninboots The frequencies are rising around us, it would be hard to ignore it.

  • Comment removed

  • @evaninboots Lets not forget about ancient things like Mayans and Egyptian goddesses (Veil of Maya and Born of Osiris) :)

  • @GuitarShredder1854 ancient "gods" are aliens...

  • @evaninboots i think its pretty sweet though!

  • @evaninboots Have you noticed that salvation & light are things that are hard to find in today's society? Kinda logic bands pick on those subjects.

  • @evaninboots It's getting to be that time.

  • @MetalCoreHog131 spontanious evolution time?

  • @evaninboots Haha the abstract topics add to the ambience. More scientific/mathematic type of music anyway so of course it is gonna be about these things :P

  • @evaninboots I think this should create some kind of paradox. Because the music seems to be so "evil" (you know what I mean) and light and energy and all that is such a beautiful thing ...

I hope you get my point :/

  • @evaninboots ever notice theres always been progressive bands that write bout that? just cuz its just now becoming mainstream u notice.

  • @evaninboots That's because their progressiveness came as they were enlightened by aliens or spirits.

  • @6juicebag9 i wasn't enlightened by any aliens,or spirits,i was simply enlightened by the fact that if you go after what you want in life, even if it seems like it's impossible, and you discard the reality around you, that basically has every reason to stop you from doing what you want, you will actually get to what you want, never stop believing in what motivates you to push forward towards happiness.i write about my own personal life experiences, its in the eyes of the beholder! -Alex

  • @stfududejustdie Well, my previous comment was more of a joke. Thank you for the words of wisdom and lyrical insight! Also, thank you for responding to your fans!

  • @6juicebag9 Ok gotcha, and Thank you for being a fan and listening to our music, much appreciated

  • @evaninboots I would have to say The Contortionist is the supreme ruler.

  • @AJConrady Damn, I love the contortionist, is there anyone out their like them?

  • @CoreThrasherGLB Sound wise I would say BTBAM but lyrically they are one of my favorite bands. Sagancore FTW!

  • @AJConrady But BTBAM used notes a lot in a clever but chromatic way, they don't abide by scales much so, I may be wrong, but they don't have these massive earth shattering melodic sections like in Flourish and Oscillator. I haven't heard enough of their songs but am I right?

  • @CoreThrasherGLB fuck yes, flourish fucking owns. contortionist ftw

  • @CoreThrasherGLB

Wrong bro, you need to listen to all their shit, Hell The Contortionist are influenced by BTBAM. Check out all their albums man, fucking sickness

  • @VindictiveNoah Can you recommend to me some of their more melodic songs? I've heard white walls, and other popular ones, haven't found as much melody

  • @VindictiveNoah So i looked at their facebook, and for bands they like, they have "

SikTh (official), BANDHAPPY, Boreworm, Opeth, Static FBML, STRUCTURES, Volumes, Conducting From The Grave, Scale The Summit, Tyrants, Painted in Exile, VEIL OF MAYA, Behold! The City, Terror, The Color Morale, War Of Ages, The Red Chord, The Acacia Strain, Voltaic Recording Studio, whitechapel, LEGEND, I Declare War, Good Fight Entertainment, Heavy Hitter, Inc." So nothing about BTBAM.

  • @evaninboots I think is great because I love all those things. :D

  • @evaninboots It's because they know the truth...

  • @evaninboots It's because they are coming very soon.

  • Comment removed

  • @evaninboots Arbiter

  • @evaninboots Illuminiti

  • @evaninboots lucifer is coming...

  • @VersusTheAir who is that?

  • @evaninboots the bearer of light. satan.

  • 0:26 Rape Begins...

  • they shouldnt have gotten a new vocalist IMO. but whatever, this new shit still rips. \m/

  • @themandude69 Their former vocalist's work schedule was too hectic for him to continue with the band. If they wanted to move forward and succeed with getting a record deal that had to find a new one. But not to worry, they're still the best of friends. They'd reached an understanding. But yeah, they really didn't have a choice.

  • this is the direction Here Comes The Kraken should of went in.

  • i love the musicianship, the singer is okay but the execution of the song is fucking phenomenal

  • Check out I Magnified

  • where can get this album? ive been looking everywhere for it!

  • @TheMiszrye itunes or blkmarketmerch for a physical copy

  • The shit.

  • this EP really is good. FUCK

  • This is the best video with lyric I've ever seen. Good quality.

  • I love this band, but I don't really like the new vocalist. I swear the lyrics and the vocals sometimes doesn't go together.

  • 2:40 = Ear sex

  • giant fushigi

  • Its a piece of perction

  • Everyone still following all this religious dogma used to control the masses could not be more wrong. The Bible was not intended to be interpreted the way mainstream religion teaches it. The highest religious leaders know the truth, they just refuse to share it because if you knew it, they would no longer have power and control over you. The global elite do this to keep you all in ignorance.

  • They know the universal truth. The energy of love constantly flowing around and through us, it's just inperceivable to people who are still living in the 3rd dimension and who have not awakened to the truth yet, which is what is happening around the world right now. 2012 is the date we all will recognize who and what we truly are, and shift into our higher consciousness. Believe what you will, but this is truth. The highest form of ignorance is rejecting something you don't know anything about.

  • I really want to know how they make these lyric videos, like with all the awesome spins and animation.

  • okay guys.....i know for a fucking fact that they are not christian so shut up. just cuz lyrics sound symbolic relating to spiritual messages and they dont talk about death and blood, and corpses...dosnt make them a christian band. flyancor12 ..... do you know them personally and know for a fact that they are christian? clearly not. so before you make really universal statements like an insufferable now it all... get educated on the subject

  • @TheSunshineRae yeah right well said

  • @TheSunshineRae man i was saying that i know for a fact that there NOT christian

  • kinda love this

  • These guys are like circle of contempt with a little more structure haha. Definitely good music.

  • No robert or jacob... wtf.

  • The lyrics are kinda, bleh lol.

  • breakdown of the day sent me...not like anyone cares....

  • oh my fuck this is sick

  • fuck, are these guys christian?

  • @Badfish5447 no

  • @flyancor12 yeah they are and edubchilds theyve always been christian just read the lyrics of array

  • @KINGPORTH their not they said that many times but who cares anyways

  • @Badfish5447 I don't think they were before, but i think the new singer is taking it in that fucking retarded direction. I was excited to find this band before, but now I'm gonna have to ditch them i think...

  • @edubchilds so what if theyre christian? metal doesnt always have to talk about mutilation or cuss. a band can be christian and still be just as good as any other band out there. dont let religion be the deciding factor in your music. you could be missing out on ALOT of great stuff.

  • @KINGPORTH Lame. i never said it had to be about mutilation, and to each his own buddy. If i don't like it I'm not listening to it

  • @Badfish5447 What genericore band today isnt?

  • @Badfish544 Some of the guys are spiritual I think, but this isn't a "Christian Metal Band" in any way. Even if it was: who cares? The music is sick.

  • sean is so handsome

  • I'm at work listening to this and at 0:25 right before the breakdown ish part someone turned on some random hiphop shit with awesome synth that totaly fitted in the song haha

  • I can't get into these bands anymore. They all sound the same.

  • @italia10588 been like that for the past few years, for every 30-40 new bands that come up, 1 or 2 sound unique or original..

    kinda sad :S

have you heard of Animals as Leaders?

instrumental "progressive" or whatever genre the collective decides it is.

if you havent heard them check out their songs "CAFO" "Inamorata" "Behaving Badly" "Isolated Incidents" "Thoroughly at Home" or just check out everything that comes up.

  • @IcarusCinematics yeah dude awesome reference, AAL are incredible. I've been following them since their creation. If you like Prof metal/fusion check out a band called Scale the Summit. Their newest album "the collective" is absolutely amazing.

  • @italia10588 i know! Theyre awesome as well!

    we have good taste.

  • @italia10588 Amazing bands man scale the summit is awesome.Prog metal is like the only metal doing something unique.

  • @jakeen229 Seriously man, I even thought djent was unique but all that shit sounds the same now too. There's very few bands really stepping out and changing the game. The Faceless, Coprofago, Veil of Maya, After the Burial (to an extent) theres more I can't think of them but besides that.. metal is getting stagnant.

  • @italia10588 only band I can listen too out of djient everyday is meshuggah(sense they started it) besides them cloudkicker is good,,not to many after that.I agree same taste as music as myself,,I'm baffled people like a day to remember,,there useless.

  • NEW ELITIST

  • this band fucking GENIUS!.why do people talk shit about these type of bands..i mean these guys kick ass just like ERRA,circles, blind witness, and aliasas.if people wanna talk shit about this band then i have two words for you..FUCK YOU.nuff said..

  • 1:48 = classic Elitist. Love it. This is their thang.

  • @PortlandHardcore19 Fuck yeah it is!

  • @PortlandHardcore19

    Well said.

  • @PortlandHardcore19

Hella djent bands do that. It's nothing new.

  • Theres a channel called "inkandhonor818" which has an interview with one of the guitarists. Whilst he tattoo's somebody actually aha.

  • Comment removed

  • what the? is this a different vocalist than the one in the caves video?

  • @AsianTylerr yeah they kicked the bald guy out and got a Russian assassin

  • @flyancor12 Actually: "the bald guy" left on his own terms. They are all still buds, Jake just had to make a career choice.

  • @flyancor12 well i gotta say he sounds really good he reminds me of despised icon. where can i find like a biography or like updates about this band?

  • foda

  • I want.

  • words fail to describe the joy I feel when I hear this.

  • how are you gonna judge an entire band off of one song? Kids these days... i swear..

    i think they're great.

  • @augustburnsmichael gay fucking name. haha

  • actually theyre very technical so maybe kno what ur saying next time

  • These guys have SOOO much potential. They just need a better vocalist =/

  • Not bad but not great either. Sounds way too familiar you know? Been done too many times now.

  • @brothercartman this song reminds me of underoath's newest album...but still i like this band.

  • Dang this song gives me chills from how good it is.

  • Just found this band. Fucking love them and this is the only song I've heard so far. They should tour with Substructure and Born Of Osiris

  • @22jermz listen to caves before buying this album, they are both amazing.

  • @22jermz AND ERRA i said the same thing lol

  • @22jermz the whole caves EP is epic

  • i didnt like this band before "earth" but jesus christ have mercy on my cock this shit is fuckin legendary. its a perfect blend of ambiance djent goodness screaming and shred. dam guys wish it was a full length cuz this shit is genius

  • that disgusting fuck

  • @augustburnsmichael august burns red is some stupid christian band compared to this

  • @BeforeThePlagues omg ur sooooo anti christ ur so cooool bru

  • @kchhong I never said I was anti christian, dumbass

  • @BeforeThePlagues Quit comparing bands, faggot.

  • @BeforeThePlagues Shut up kid

  • @augustburnsmichael i dont hear it theyre nothing alike

  • @augustburnsmichael Not really, but even if it did, that would be a good thing, right? August Burns Red is a great band, and so is Elitist.

  • this song is amazing

  • I loved the old singer and I do miss him. Don't get me wrong, the new singer is pretty good, but i wish he would enunciate more (w/out the lyrics showing i couldn't understand a word of what he was screaming) and that he would have more personality in his style. the words kind of jumble together (isn't very sharp). But he definitely has potential.

  • @augustburnsmichael are you cracked out?

  • @420greenbeen hahahahahaha

  • i heard the first ten second, said "HEY I KNOW THIS SONG!!!! ITS "CROWN ME KING" BY I THE BREATHER!!!" fucking dumb EP. "hey lets only have enough material to put 3 songs AND THEN just make instrumentals of the songs, thus making a 6 song EP." fuck this band. this whole "djent" music scene sounds exactly the same.

  • Yeah and I almost throw a little A life once lost too.

  • This kinda sounds like the plot to that Insidious movie.

  • Lyrics are kind of retarded. Just sayin'. Do they actually mean anything?

  • vocalist could use more of range in his vocals...other than that its pretty mint.

  • @IHXCININJA Yeah that's the one thing I have always thought about Elitist. Especially with Alex. He has insane highs and lows.

  • @Toadoe7 live shows ;)

  • Between the buried and me mixed with The red chord and both of those bands weren't original either. This vocalist sounds like he just got off the short bus.

  • @EBBadd1 Nice!

  • Reminds me of Circle of Contempt.

  • dude are these guys christian?

  • @KyuubiXX243H98 no ;D

  • @xXChrisxHaRdCoReXx ah man that would been all the more amazing :/

  • Me: Jesus Christ!

Jesus: What the fuck you want?

    Me: Listen to this.

    Jesus: Oh My Fucking God...

    God: What?

    Jesus: Listen to this
