  • mmm Iused to have a 4.5 red rose with xp race exhaust. Absolutely mental, the noise was breathtaking

  • Great video! :)

  • nice vid, love the noise on the overrun! :}

  • nice vid, love the noise on the overrun! :}

  • Hay Dave, I admire this unusual and emotional brand with its fast and vicious cars ... I even want to buy Cerbera myself ... but I don’t know how am I going to mend it if something goes wrong ... and it eventually will ... it is a machine after all ...

  • Any chance you could give us some info Dave?

How is the car performance long term, does it give you much trouble?

Is it efficient enough for day to day use?

How much do you pay a year for insurance and maintanance?

    Beautiful car though mate.

  • Bloody noisey, thirsty, ugly and need loads of maintenance - I've never liked helicopters!

Cerbera's a proper sports car, I just love the sound and performance they have.

You hear all sorts of horror stories about poor build quality and reliability though, how has yours faired in its first year with you Dave?

  • Nice one... takes me back to my car club days

  • Really nice car! The sound it brings forth is animal like!

  • You're a strange one as you have put youtube video "tvr cerbera (blue)" in your favourites. (a full 43 secs!)

  • dave .......... what can i say ............. amazing , superb and awsome ! utterly brilliant piece of video . takes me back to 2003 when i owned a 4.5 with all the bits . i had to sell her for various sad reasons ..... but enough of that ! thank you both so very much for a fabulous revival of my better days xxx

  • Beautiful car man.

  • Great vid, awesome noise!

  • awsome car!! all the way from california!

  • I had a mate who owned a speed 6 cerbera.had it for 3 years and it never went wrong once. 3 years after selling it, he bought another one and it must have spent most of it's life in the workshop so i suppose you never know, you might get lucky.or not.

  • Yep, thats me, I used to have a Grey Griff when you had your Cerb I think?

  • If you had taken the next right at 6:16 you may have seen my TVR :)

  • I used to live in Black Notley and go to the gym at the end of that estate.

Are you the guy with the T350 now?

If so I think you were at the Essex meet last Sunday.

  • great music taste! great car! love it.

  • Lovely car. I dream of owning one. How much better is the 4.5 than the 4.2 mate?? Thinking of buying one of these as I'm splitting up with my missis and I want to do something silly with my oney for once.

  • There's not a lot of difference in performance but you can tune the 4.5 easier than the 4.2

I'd buy the 4.5 again just for this reason and no other.

    Enjoy your cash mate :)

You have probably been on the following site before but just in case you haven't, lots of TVR stuff in the forums at pistonheads . com

  • i'll offer you $40000 (thats 20k pound) for it

  • ...that is a beaut TVR fella!! Looks and sounds awesome!! Always wanted a Cerbie or Tuscan but been put off by cost. Had a 996(911) which was well good and a Scooby STi which was bleeding awesome, proper quick, but Id love a Trevor, but maintanance costs are aaaaahhhh!!!!

  • That is truly a stunning car.

  • quality video mate... ive just got into a business so should have some more money to play with soon! i loved tvr's before, as one of my old neighbours had one, but your vid has made my mind up about buying one once things sort themselves out! awesome... and the noise a griff makes is stunning hey

  • did you modify the exhausts in any way? sounds so sweet. A m8 of mine has a chimaera 4.0 and hes taken the catalysts off and it sounds so special

  • The car was like that when I bought it.

    De-cat and JP sports exhaust.

I now have the 5.0 Griffith with cherry's and it does sound good. Still got the pre and main cats but would like to remove the pre cats only. May get too loud without the main cat as well :) I prefer deeper sounding exhausts rather than just loud!

  • what's a cerb like as a first TVR? Was the performance a bit mad compared with cars you owned before? BTW nice vid!

  • Sounds funny but the Cerb fitted me like a glove. Felt comfortable on the limit and even when it did let go!

Back in my youth (early 80's) I had many front engine, rear wheel drive cars and used to get them sideways often(stupid boy). Maybe it's that practice, but it didn't feel that mad.

  • Nice vid. This has been my dream car since 1996.

  • A+A+!

  • I gotta say that really was some vid dude!

Good to see your mrs understands what it's all about! what dya drive now?

  • Thanks.

I now have a Griff 500 as the Cerb was a little too expensive for poor old me to run.

A little run out in the Griff is in my other videos :) Not a great video but sounds nice!

  • Nice one .. i think i remember commenting on that vid too...you need to get out there and make a longer vid for us Griff 500 fans! check out the comments! cheers

  • ...that, was fooking awesome!! Popping and banging all over the place!! Nice Trev fella!!!

  • Best Cerb Vid i have seen / heard!! A+
