He was obviously pushing the plane for a reason the military doesnt just film flights like this on a regular basis. Its not immaturity but a moentary lapse of judgment that brought this plane down

a steep level turn consists of a high degree of bank and thrust combination used by the pilot , from 30 degree to 60 pilot increases the bank while using back pressure and increased power to create lift therefore balance.easy job.

In some countries steep level turns are also referred as an evasive maneuver , also steep descending turns are mandatory in most of the countries to avoid different airspace zones when clearance cannot be obtained.
in this planes case pilot did not use enough back pressure and power to keep the plane balanced and level therefore nose dropped and worse case scenario happened SPIRAL DIVE.

A year before an American crew landed one with the gear up after not following the correct landing checklist, in fact every incident involving the Globemaster had US (note I have used capital letters) crews piloting.

EVERY PROFESSIONAL PILOT HAS TO COMPLETE STEEP LEVEL TURNS DURING TRAINING 45-60, i have done it and its no big deal
C-17 pilot here stuffs up and ends up in spiral dive , its not new ...it happened many times because of the trainee and trainers lack of focus ...

a steep level turn consists of a high degree of bank and thrust combination used by the pilot , from 30 degree to 60 pilot increases the bank while using back pressure and increased power to create lift therefore balance.easy job.

@clicker0123 steep turns are MANDATORY in almost all around the world as a training session for every pilot
In some countries steep level turns are also referred as an evasive maneuver , also steep descending turns are mandatory in most of the countries to avoid different airspace zones when clearance cannot be obtained.
in this planes case pilot did not use enough back pressure and power to keep the plane balanced and level therefore nose dropped and worse case scenario happened SPIRAL DIVE.

@clicker0123 now as i have explained in those 2 comments AGAIN AND AGAIN...this maneuver isnt much of a problem for even a cargo plane when there isnt much payload . it was obviously the pilots lack of attention or even overconfidence caused him to use less power and end up in this situation ...
now you can keep swearing as much as you want ...but it wont make ANYONE in here believe you have served in any place ...but rather still studying in middle school.

@MarcfromNemesis3 The crash was caused by a wing stall when he banked too sharp. The C17 can take off that steep without stalling, it has to in combat zones.

@sentinel531 The crew were all Americans, the American pilot stalled and the resulting crash killed everybody onboard. A year before an American crew landed one with the gear up after not following the correct landing checklist, in fact every incident involving the Globemaster had US (note I have used capital letters) crews piloting.
Also the question mark goes at the end of a sentance and the rest of the known world puts a capital letter at the beginning. Hope this answers your question.
