Nice ride but nowhere close to 500 horse from my experience with old cars! That's more like the acceleration of a stock 302. The movie cars had built 351 windsor engines making 430 horse and would eat the tires off. All the cars that was left after the filming sold on ebay for 30 grand a piece. Even a smashed fender from a wrecked car sold on ebay for big bucks I have no idea who would want that. lol....

Are there any oiling system modifications? Might need restrictors in the mains, looks like it might be pumping up the valve covers... still cool!

@ford73broncoboy, looks like 295/50 15 on rear and 235/60 14 on front, that's what I have on my 72, gives it a good look

Back again! :) LOVE the size of the rims on the rear!!!! LOVE TOO the sound!! What was your top speed during the test? Did you reach 120mph or stop a wee bit short?

I checked your other videos and unless somehow I missed some, this is the only one you have of ANY Gran Torino being dyno tested. Bummer! Still a REALLY good job on producing this video!

OH MAN!! SO COOL!! Now, Is that a manual trans ran in one gear or an automatic in ran in 3rd, because it's a rolling start I didn't hear any change of gears and since I'm not experienced with dyno testing I don't know how the session works? Do you have video of the speedo during the dyno test? I'm gonna go look for it in your other videos, I just needed to ask here ahead of time. The whole car looks BEAUTIFUL from my position!! Awesome looking rims!!
