  • these white Americans are talking about we and our. What does that mean??????

You are no more superpower Afghans are going to teach you a lesson. Wait Afghans have to take care of you racist white Americans.

  • Very objective analysis !

  • I am so horny right now!!! W

  • Vote Ron Paul and get out of the middle east. Wake up America and educate yourselves to what is really happening before it is to late.

  • Americans need to come to realisation that we are THE major destabilising force in world. We've been pumping arms into 3rd world & getting involved in civil disputes for over 100yrs & it has led to increasing chaos & danger. Today, US is THE largest arms exporter & we're arming BOTH sides of civil war in Iraq & entire mid-east for that matter. The rest of the world has come to hate us for our foreign policy & it's only a matter of time before they stop financing our debt.

  • Very true.

But remember ,"War" is good for business: The price of oil barrels has Quadruple since 2002, Dick cheney and "Halliburton" made a killing (Literally) doubling its share value and not to mention "General Electric" and all the other major military contractors, the Dowjones index at 14k etc...

In short money talks... no wait "Money makes policies" and to hell with the voters. The expansion of "consumerism" and profits is the only thing that matters now. Capitalism isn't grand ?

  • Pakistan is in the state it's in & primarily anti-US because of our involvement in the USSR/Afghan war & the fact that we pumped millions of weapons/arms into that area in the '80s which was a MAJOR destabilising force in Pakistan which, until the mid-'80s, I believe, was totally democratic. I had a friend in college who was Paki & told me how in a matter of a couple years EVERYONE in Pakistan was carrying an AK-47 and armed gangs of thugs started to take over the majority of the country.

  • what struck me in all this was his comment about al qaeda's "secure" headquarters in pakistan. what makes the hq secure?? i thought pakistan/musharraf was a US ally. hell, i saw the dude on the daly show the other night..? surely he's not making al qaeda secure. or am i missing something here....

  • What you're missing is the fact that Musharraf is nothing more than a dictator, disliked by many, even within Pakistan's army. There's lots of people with an interest (for whatever reason), to see him go and that is why AQ not only can operate secure in certain areas of Pakistan, it is also the Number 1 reason why AQ is supported in many countries with similar dictatorial regimes which just happen to be friends with the West (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, to name just two).

  • Bingo. Right on the dot. It is the first reason why I like Obama on foreign policy. He was the first one to note the importance of Pakistan right now. Bhutto may be people's favorite but she does not pull the good punches like Musharraf can. Taliban and her backers/ sympathiszers have 22% approval rating in Pakistan. Not enough to win an election but enough for them to force their way in the way the Taliban did in 1989-1990.

  • Now we are lost and we have lost. What is left? Anger and separation.

WE Americans are much better than the government that speaks for us. Because they are bound to do our will and what is right, and what is above all, American.

  • Are there any Americans left to fight or have we all given up. An American will fight for what is good and right. WE do not impose. WE Americans defend that for ourselves.

  • Did you hear that. "Even if that is true, that is not why they are reporting it."

That is correct, they are reporting it because they want to go to war, make it seem justifiable to drop expensive bombs somewhere, Stop iran from gaining nuclear technology so that the super corperations of the world can continue to have a monopoly on uraniam for power plants in the middle east, spend tax $ on companies that they or their family own. That's all war has ever been for the last 50 years.

  • Why do men defy the odds and stand in front of tanks. Because they are morally right and they sacrifice it all.

    Why?

  • Did you hear that. "Even if that is true, that is now why they are reporting it" That is correct, they are reporting it cause they want an excuse to spend tax $ on companies that they or their family own. That's all war has ever been for the last 50 years.

  • Seems like this gentlemen should lend himself to the cause. has Mr. Rubin tied to talk to any of the presidential candidates. If we are truly at war, then we need men like him to make major sacrifices to end this war. I belive Mr. Rubin already knows this. Obi Wan you're our only hope.

    Sorry it fits.

Americans need to be educated and those of us who mean to end this war need to band together.

  • Hmmmm Thats not good...

So no matter what we do Bush fucked us.
