  • sounds great! guys this is not to recreate the song but to learn how shm does their sound.. use the tip and make your own original song from it!

  • How did u get tht access virus ti?!?!?!?!?!

  • @thegdfella4500 he bought a virus ti??

  • this is good but i thick that you not so really good speakers got :D @azybalka

    i have genelec 8040

  • this is just crap

  • lol the notes are wrong

  • No offence guys it doesn't sound that close???

  • how did you make that rising sound> please reply thanks :)

  • can i get this access vst if i have fl studio ?

  • @BeguitarPro That VST is only controlling the Virus Ti hardware.. you need to buy a virus Ti if you want to use that in fruity loops, google it they are dope but pricey pieces of hardware. If you want a similar sound try using the VST "Silenth", it sounds good and has a similar flavor to the Virus.

  • @JoeyRec you mean sylenth right?

  • Doesn't sound anything like the actual synth from the original.

  • great now all i need to do is spend 2,000 $ on the virus ti :)

  • wicked that s2s are doing tuts now!

  • Please also check HEDA - Forensic Evidence

    Thank you

  • I like how you put text on the right on the screen. This makes it easy to got back and forth between the VSTi and the video without me having to squint or close any windows. Props!

  • its 127bpm

  • what is this access virus software??

  • I admire your work, but mate, this isn't so good. Much better remakes are made in FL Studio. Cheers, keep it up !!!

  • @FilipVuleta your an idiot. lol

  • wow, these sounds are horrible, NOTHING near the original

  • @officialctease your an idiot lol

  • Amazing Tuorials !!!!

  • I have to ask a stupid question...

    which program do you use?

Im used to FL-Studio, it looks a bit similar?^^

  • @kaminatorXD Logic

  • @kaminatorXD logic..

  • each sound is not even close to shm ... sorry but its really, really bad

  • @azybalka this for education if you are trying to recreate SHM'S One on Logic then you are REALLY missing the point

  • that was honestly amazing!

  • WHY -5 semitones? it destroyed the whole thing. Good video otherwise

  • swedish house mafia used sylenth...

  • *** 1/2 not bad!

  • WHAT SOFTWARE IS THIS?!

  • @Bloodflooder Read description retard.

  • what software is this? ableton?

  • I like how you explain what parameters to adjust so that you can make (almost) any plug-in get the effect needed for the sound (or at least close)Thanks

  • It sounds like you put some notes in there that should not belong...with the synth that you detuned down 5 steps? Its creating all sorts of clash that isnt in the original. (or certainly more prevalent than in the original)

  • Hey thanks S2S, Enjoyed all the vids so far. Subbed, and ill tell others about ya.

  • Sorry if this has already been answered.. But.. What program is it that is being used to create the music? thanks in advanced.. again.. sorry if this has been said somewhere already

  • Virus TI aint a VST or anyother kind of plugin right!? i mean you need the keyboard

for that!?!?1 if u do what keyboard u have!!?!? Polar!?!?

  • Where can I find the white noise rises. I cant seem to find them just synth fx rises?

Cheers awesome vid by the way

  • how do you program the secuence? I wavn't found one video, either ableton or logic on how to program the bass sequence. for example like in the video where steve, sebs, and axwell are "in the making of ONE", they are playing with their little midi keyboards trying different sound patters and stuff. anyone?

  • Your channel helps out loads.

    Sub'd

  • Nice do you think a mac with logic and fl studio is better then only fl studio but with a pc with intel 4.0ghz processor

  • Well, the tutorial isn't useless, but sadly it really is a harmonically incorrect reproduction. Sorry for my criticism, but it sounds pretty unpleasant in my tiny ears. :$

  • @djdawizz This version isn't even mastered or anything, + it's been put together in less than 15 minutes. Give him a day of work on it + a little bit of mastering -> Would sound as good as One most likely

  • @jajaisjagut

Well I don't blame him, if the sound/mastering was the only problem.. The layers are tuned quite badly, that is the main problem. That is actually one of the basic elements in reproducing the original sound in my pov.

  • @djdawizz agreed

  • do you know where I can get the vst?

  • there are chords with piano instead of strings i think and there are chords with the main melody too with a synth...:p

  • @deckoland man i fuckin knooooowwww, but i really ceebsed doing the looped kick as the synth so i just did the whole build up at the start with kicks but then switched to a synth when the melody came in lol

  • can i use the vst's on fl studio as well

  • @NetrizMusic Yes

  • nice video! also check my channel for a complete remake / tutorial of Swedish House mafia "One"

  • @leomorenotv Just checked yours. Pretty awesome and even though I'm in logic it still gave me wicked insight. Thanks.

  • how do you get all the different synths that you have? like they all arent standard in logic... how do you get them???

  • Haha I can tell your new to this. It took me years to figure that out myself. The software he uses is logic wich you probably know. And inside of logic he has plugins that he uses there are a ton of other plugins you could use to remake this song. Look it up he uses ohmocide and audio damage plugins. the access plugin he uses is going to his virus ti keyboard which is like 3 grand. Its imposible to get those awsome virus sounds with out the keyboard trust me I looked everywhere.

  • The original is mutch better

  • wow !!!! nice !!!!!! =) You have so much views like me for my remake !

  • what is the kick used in???

  • virius ti = amazing

  • See my new song and let me yours comments youtube.com/watch?v=jdne9M8t4k0

  • doesnt even sound close, listen to my remix of the song if you want the real thing (SOUNDS VST´S)

  • is this with logic? and is it easy to use???

  • not hard, just take a supersaw lead, and drench it in reverb

  • hey it would be very great if you could tell the vts's with which you worked here name :)

  • @stebetojasss The synth is the Virus TI, the distortion is Ohmicide and the reverb is Audio Damage.

    Barry

    Sounds To Sample

  • @soundstosample thank you a lot my friend :)

  • @soundstosample

Dear Barry, what is that tool, that they used for the part , in which ths synths rises cont, up.

In a video they said, that they used an extra plug in in order to

  • @stebetojasss The synth is the Virus TI, the distortion is Ohmicide and the reverb is Audio Damage.

    Barry

    Sounds To Sample

  • @soundstosample u got virus ti? oO ♥

  • the bass is not made by a synth its made by a sampler... ffs why cant anyone hear that is is.. its just a kick loop just looped very fast

  • @deckoland You're correct in SHM's method. However, as the saying goes: there's more than one way to skin a cat ;-)

  • @soundstosample lol well the video itself and the way the sound is introduces makes it obvious XD

  • @soundstosample check my remake ;)

  • @deckoland a kick drum's wave form is basically a saw wave

  • yeh.... and

  • @deckoland U wouldnt know shit about that if u didnt see it in the music video. So stfu

  • @futuri HAHAH lol ive never seen the music video..... if there is one... and yeh looping a kick is harder than remaking a deadmau5 tune...... cock

  • @deckoland yeah right looooooooooooooooooool

  • @deckoland actually i realised that :D

  • @deckoland No. what they did for the actualy track was they only looped the kick for about 32 bars and then they crossfaded it into a synth. and even if they did just use a speeded up kick it is still synthesis, its called granular synthisis

  • @definty its not a synth..... yes they crossfaded it which i forgot to elaborate on. but it is the kick sample looped very fast with a sampler set on the loop setting under where the audio file is assigned. im not sure but i think steve angello uses logic. so he would have the exs24 with the loop looped fast and the tuning automated at the end of each midi 'block' and then bounced in place.

  • @deckoland not just a kick a hi hat as well they said it on future music Sebastian ingrosso said they looped the kick and a hi hat and for the organ they used synplant

  • @NetrizMusic kwl i didnt know that they used a hat aswell.

  • @deckoland they did listen to the song again at one part the bassline changes

  • @deckoland It just sound like a a raw SAW, dont fake it joker, you just saw the op 1 videoclip and think you-know-it-all. Youtube loser.

  • @ritonnade woahhh.... i didn't know it was a competition who new what first... and no i'm not faking it or joking... you can very clearly hear that its a kick being looped.... and no i don't know it all, but if i know how to recreate deadmau5 songs for other peoples benefits, then i'm pretty sure hearing a kick looped fast is going to be amazingly hard to re-create. poo on my face.

  • @deckoland

Actually, in the video they make it look like it's a looped kick very fast. But that's not real. If you listen very good at the speeding up you can hear is going from a looped kick to a synth (somewhere between 0:32 and 0:35 on the version I have).

Besides not many people know that the actual original version never had this 'speed up'. They made that later on because the track was such a succes. Even later on they added the vocals to it.

  • @MichaelKuijs ah i didnt notice that fade before, cheers mate. but i wouldn't say its fading to a synth at all, it would be the fade from having the kick in audio on his arrange page on his DAW to a sampler like the ESX24 as they use logic and that

try this. open up ultra-beat in logic. and take the default kick and bounce it in place. the kick doesnt sound the same but the transient at the beginning it very similar to the original.. and loop it in the EXS24 fast. and it sounds exactly the same.

  • @MichaelKuijs I totally agree on the switch from kick to synth. I can practically see the point where that happens when viewing the track in rekord box.

  • @deckoland I thought they just did that for the video. ;-)

  • @deckoland I dont think its a kick drum, its just a saw wave, thats pitched up, try pitching down a saw wave it sounds like a drum

  • Hi! I need a VST to make the bass... I'm on Fruity Loops.

  • wow!!! incredible!! thanks for this!!

  • nice work! :)
