How is it fair to be judged, based on Biblical codes of conduct, when thousands of generations had never heard of Christianity? how could it be fair, for God to judge people--based on the Bible--when many are indoctrinated into believing that Christians are "Infidels." You as a Catholic, no as a free Human should look into the Papacy's position and indoctrination of Rerum Novarum. In my opinion its the most socialist decree ever , even topping the communist manifesto. When you investigate it make sure you understand the church allows stealing of property for need, among other things. Stealing is stealing period and its forbidden by God & the Pope is not God and is not his earthly representative.

He talks about the historical context of Rerum Novarum, the role of an encyclical in catholic thought, and the impact of doctrinal development on social theory. Father Sirico is a fusionist and looks at this development in a manner much different than conventional Catholic social theorists.
I have it in book form. He gave it to me, along with about 50 other books and encyclicals, when I last visited the St. Philip Neri House. He just so happens to be my priest. haha
I think much of what he has written can be read on the Acton Institute website.
