I was in the north end zone, (sect 39 row 54 seat 21) and this was one of the more enjoyable games I've been too. Man it was loud after that kick went through! I remember having to watch Suh cross the goal line on the video though, too many people jumping up and down to be able to see! Oh, and I am going to Boulder this year.... Not afraid of sCUm fans, I lived in Columbia for a couple of years....
I Was At This Game Sat Right Behind The Field Goal post and when they kick went threw the uprights our section went ape shit then it just went around the stadium it was the best game ive been to in a long time
I was at the game too... and it scared me! I was rolling my eyes the whole game. We were outplaying CU except the score didn't show it. Joe Ganz taking that sack just made the kick epic so thank my lucky stars
Our seats are 5 rows up from where Nebraska runs out. Watching that kick barely make it over the goal post was awesome! I didn't think Henry would be able to make one from that far out. Thank you for proving me wrong!
i think the standard for Blackshirt defense was set in the 90's...i'll even go so far as to say our defense hasn't been dominant since '99.
I keep thinking back to the Missouri & OU games last year...and how our secondary was so easily picked apart. Granted, they weren't Bo's players...and they've had over a year now to acclamate to the new coaches/schemes. FAU will be a good test...they have a decent drop back qb in R. Smith.
I like bo pellini, but nebraska should have hired him when they fired frank solich for winning 9 games. how can they ignore turner gill??? one of their own. i guess that doesn't count for anything these days....not to mention the walkon program.
to all those that still want to say this is not a rivalry. The players think it is. the fans don't like each other. the teams don't like each other. the better team doesn't always win. it's emotional. the game is national. holiday weekend. look only at the last decade win loss and explain to me then what a rivalry is. oklahoma is gone, face it. love to hate the buffs and embrace the game. pull for colorado to win every game but nebraska and lets get this show on the road! GBR. Go Black Shirts.
I have a feeling that within the next decade or so we can once again be actual rivals with OU again. I like the direction Bo is stearing the program in.
