CoBOL is perhaps one of the greatest beginner's languages of all, and imho is going to make a comeback in a BIG WAY! As most business and financial systems still use it as their mainstay, I forsee CoBOL becoming the transactional cloud language to rule them all!

Why don't they create something usefull? For example Visual LOLCODE, or Visual Brainfuck. No! The chosen COBOL. Damn...
