Can you give me some details please .. i am thinking of getting this netbook / ultra portable. I see it has some PCIe slots, do you know if these are fuctional? and are they linked to to sim card slot ?
@humakabula1 let me just add that the newer model with e-450 apu has the additional mini-pcie slot removed. And to say the microphone is not of the highest quality is a joke - it is absolutely unusable!
thats a bit simple - on my netbook i have to take the top plastic off, then the screen, then the daughter board and then the motherboard out to change the ram. Not very convenient!

yes, it does have a mini pcie slot up above the hard drive.
as far as i know, that is a working slot. it is not connected in any way to the SIM slot as the manual states the SIM slot is not functioning.
i have found that the internal microphone is not of the highest quality.

The video card, CPU and northbridge are all on the same chip.
the style of chip is BGA, meaning that the chip itself is soldered to the motherboard, there is no way to swap the video card.
