@hmnhntr most leads in mega man are just a standard "15 13" volume or something similar. there's generally no dynamics involved with the lead notes.
though not "notes," there's some 8bit cliches commonly associated with mega man like retrig (ie the volume of a note quick fades and resets) or noise channel snares (an arp going up 1 2 3 4 5)
there's a lot more that goes into capturing the mega man style than just effects, and if you want to talk about it more you can pm me and i'll be help out.
I'm not a fan of 0:16 to 0:30, although it's still done well. Probably a bit more atmospheric than I would've cared for, reminding me of that famous segment from Strike Man's theme. Still, a very nice and upbeat tune with a good melody.
@frostare Nah, CadmiumRED just added the seal of quality to make it look like an authentic NES boxart, haha. Also, in teeny text above the Capcom logo it says "inspired by," so Capcom may not even know about the fanproject as of right now, haha.
Then again, you may not be serious about this and you're just making jokes. If this is the case, just ignore me for being stupid or something.
@commandycan Well, I´ll admit I misread "produced by" instead of "inspired by" but yeah...it was the latter case, lol. Just trying to compliment the masterpiece that is this song while pointing out the cool stuff the boxart has. (I hope no one gets in trouble for using the seal though). In any case thanks for clearing that out. =D

I hope the stage is as good as the song.

I can see why it has the official Nintendo seal of quality.
And Capcom approved.

@commandycan Here's a better cover I did for the game. You might want to re-record the video with the newer one from my deviantart page.

Great job on this! It reminds me of Fire Man's theme. The section that starts at 0:30 is fantastic.

So awesome! I can hear some Castlevania 2 and Dark Man's castle in this, too!
Keep churnin' 'em out, commandy. Impressive work as always.
