Wow it seems everyone commenting on this video plays piano and composes their own music. I'm glad to say that I'm one of them. Its really great that there is this kinda community around music! I agree with jack about how music can tell you about the person. Since I'm self taught with no knowledge on how to read or write music, I play like that. Straight from the heart! Love all your guyes music, and it motivates me to keep playing. :)

this track is testimony to wat i've always believed, that its not really about how many notes you can fit into a bar. the simplicity of this track tells the listener a story about the person applying pressure to the keys, it makes me wanna guess wat that person is like as a human being, and surely anyone who has the ability to express themselves so beautifully, must be a good person with a good heart. this is just stunning in every way, i could listen to that one all night, and i probably will

apologies for the mushy stuff, although i meant every word - it just made me think of my dad's last day ... i wrote one for him called 'reflections' a while ago and can't yet record it for here... i hope to soon tho, keep them coming :-)
I get the sound quality by recording the sounds directly to my computer rather than using camcorder mics.
The piano I use is a real piano but it also has infra red sensors on each key which enables me to record directly out via midi straight to the computer. Hope that explains it OK:-)
