REMINDER - SOME VENUES ARE FORCED TO DO TICKET PRESALES TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN EVEN COVER THE ELECTRIC BILL WHEN LOCAL BANDS DONOT DRAW AUDIENCE.... hey if you cannot pull 25 people you perform in your hometwn, better rexamine your promo methods, your skills, or target audience.

UNFORTUNATELY WHAT IS KILLING THE LOCAL MUSIC SCENE NOW - ARE THE BANDS THEMSELVES..THEY PLAY, THEN LEAVE, TAKIN THER FANS WEM...BANDS its PROFESSIONAL, COMN COURTESY TO REMN AT THE VENUE THR uTHE LAST BAND!!!!!!

THE BAND IS EXIT - actually there is a class action lawsuit and boycott agains Croc Roc now, not our doing, but goes to show that this was not an isolated incident.

This is why bands need to STOP playing venues or for promoters who demand that they sell tickets in order to be on a bill. The payoff isn't worth the headaches and it does nothing for your band. Nobody cares about you as the opening act, they aren't going to remember you (not if you're playing for some "big" band). Places like Croc Rock take advantage of bands like that ALL THE TIME. DIY or GTFO!
