It is then a matter of adding the melody and deciding what sort of style (e.g., rhythm) to play it in. Excellent question though. u can try to arrange with ur bass line more... coz the bass line will help u to make the groove... do u realize every of ur chord only a bass note... i means u can try make it sound more groovy... sorry my english so poor... try my best to share already...
