Why does NY have so many dogs on death row???

@SusanMHudson Without trying to make NYACC look any better than the hell hole it is, in all honesty, the majority of municipal pounds have just as many death row animals. There are a few Animal Control facilities that receive more exposure than others - mainly through social media, - like the ones in New York, Miami, or Los Angeles. The poor souls at hundreds of other high-kill pounds all over the country - for now - remain mostly faceless. :(
