I need your help with this. I've been dealing with some people that want the government to issue currency directly instead of a central bank such as the Fed. I believe that is a step in the right direction. They are still against gold and silver however. I'm trying to win them over to our point of view.
@jimbobubbadj all you need is to understand the real benefits of each way of doing things. Having gold or silver as money ; also having a local / regional currency based on local / regional choices of debt, assets or labor equality ; or a combination of the above. Some people just aren't ready for gold / silver and never will be. It's been bred out of culture deliberately and you can't change an entire culture.
Numismatic value is subjective. Toning value is also, but unfortunately also more of a scam than legit. The market is saturated w/ "fake toned coins", a simple process which actually damages the numismatic value. For most, the concern should be just getting the metal as cheap as possible. In other words, forget toning and NV...at least until you know what you are doing and how to buy it. Watch out for knock offs from China on ebay, they make damn good look-a-likes, w/ little or no silver.
Do you really think that Fox News is reading these comments? Cool. Hey Fox News! FUCK YOU! (I don't usually use the F-bomb, but in this case I think that it is totally appropriate)

A false flag event reminiscent of the carrington event could be upon us. As you pointed out the alternative media circulating is a extremely powerful tool for the Freedom Movement (whatever anyone wants to call it). Anyone who hasn't seen "The Money Masters" should see this documentary, it explains in great detail the financial events that are being orchestrated right now to bring about a world governement rules by a centralized banking system. A gold backed currency will keep them in power.
@ytgv3fc7 They own it all, if they wanted to they could collapse the economy and make PM ownership illegal to own or trade and confiscate. They could offer reward to starving parasites in society to turn anyone in who owns PM. Whether currency or backing a new currency with gold they still own it all. A few oz's won't compare to the Tons the rich elite have. Everyone would need to own gold/silver & then take control of the money system & end the FED then it would restore power to the people.
@D33Lux They don't own it all, and they could try to make growing your own food illegal too. It's called tyranny and that's why we have these things called guns and bombs. Comparing a few oz to tons is UNIMPORTANT. All that's important is if you had to chooze oz's or paper, you'd be broke to choose paper at this time. BROKE. It's happening. Look how many days in a row gold has been above $1230, above $1245. That's the proof. Everyone DOES need to own gold, silver, get freedom, forget paper.
@ytgv3fc7 Ha Ha sure they don't, they could take your home, your life, your freedom in a blink of an eye all this without a warrant, create wars, vaccines...etc Laws are in place to give the illusion of choice much like voting into a political circus, no matter who you vote for you always get a clown. You might want to research the Bilderberg's, Rothschild, Rockefeller you seem to be living in a fantasy world where you think you have control Guns? they got tanks, ships, jets, good luck to you lol
five? seriously, they need five people full-time on alex jones? seems more likely that jones has delusions of grandeur and a fox executives actually just asks his mail guy what he thinks of jones every other week or so.
You want a surefire Gold contrary indicator? Everytime I get an APMEX email about how Gold is taking off and I'd better lock it in now... The very next day gold starts going down. It takes about 5-15 days before it loses $100/oz, but it never fails.
@JP5466 you should check some charts of your own to see the dip levels. $100/oz is a little unusual in USD changes but if it was AUD or CDN I wouldn't be surprised. I have charts up showing the record of ups & downs and how to time them and make daily price charts weeks in advance.
I'm holding in my hand a deep grey toned 2000yr old Durotriges Celtic Stater (If you want to investigate an ancient story of currency debasement, google the coins of the Durotriges tribe of South West England). Toning lends a numismatic coin an air of authority and comfort (& yes, value). But people who are precious about bullion are missing the point. Bullion is about the metal - doesn't matter what it looks like in a smelter.
Dude that made me laugh when you needed a confirmation. I do follow your videos because I know that you follow the gold and silver markets very closely and have a specific message to bring to youtube. Thank You very much.

@silvercelli Hi silvercelli. You're becoming too sensitive. I listen to the silverfuturist. I like him a lot. I agree with him about 25% of the time, but I'm not going to unsub. You have to keep an open mind, because he may have a nugget of info that is valuable to you. Have you ever met someone you agree with word for word? No. Youtube and the internet is like a buffet. You sample this and that. What rings true, you research further. Don't get pissed off. Be a business man. Cheers!
Ok, here is the deal. Just buy Silver. Dang it!. Just do it. who cares about what if this or what if that nonsense? Stop being stupid and just buy silver. Im tired of talking to YouTube idiots lol
@charlesfuchs if you're buying silver and not gold you might be very sorry very soon. I won't tell you not to buy silver but if you want long-term safety and crisis-safety from currencies by using metals, holding silver but no gold would be a very bad play.
If you have a really old numismatic coin and there is zero toning, it is very suspicious because its unusual that a coin would be around for 200 years and not oxidize at all. But there is good toning and bad toning - its subjective. If a coin turns black, that sucks. If it turns rainbow, a collector might really like it.
If the toning(tarnish) is natural and attractive it can increase the coins value, of course we are talking numismatics here and collectors like uniqueness. A bullion bank would not be as excited to see tarnish(toning).
Silver seems to be on the same road that gold is, they are both slowly returning to their role as a liability free currency, as all forms of fiat monies reach their zero point.
If I was an evil globalist banker and I was going to choose a date for a crash, it would be Oct. 15th.
@chocomalk I'm somewhat concerned about silver's future monetary vector. People have been, for better or worse, brain-washed not to use silver as money. For whatever reason it doesn't work with gold. People might question if it's REAL gold because they KNOW there's great incentive to fake it out because of it's value. But having no doubt the gold they see is real they have no doubt it's money and want it like money. I'd probably invest in making bandages / a company for silver more than bars
In stable economic times I agree 100%, I feel at this point the currency status of Silver will be determined by countries rushing to the only other thing besides gold that is hard cash. Other PMs will have a place, but at least for a time, silver will probably be considered as good as gold within its ratio.
And I agree that the future of Silver will be more in the industrial world but if it is valued accordingly, it will always be a good investment in bullion form, time will tell.
I like these colors on you and your haircut. Very nice. We purchased some silver and figured it's the least we could do. We had to pay the fee but silver is silver and paper is paper.. I think we feel a little better. It's not going anywhere and its tangible.
I agree with you about wanting silver shiny...but I do like toning on old coins, it gives them a story and character in a way. Silver decoupling? You betcha. I think more and more folks are seeing it as real money now, not just something for jewelry and industrial uses only. just check out ebay listings for silver. At the start of the year you'd see some posting but nothing like you're seeing now. The facts are out on the economy and more people are waking up.
When 3rd Party Grading companies such as NGC and PCGS grades a coin with toning...they will normally plave a star next to its grade. BUT! It has to be a coin with toning that has exceptional beauty. Especially a Rainbow Toned coin. And YES.....these coins do bring a higher premium attached. In some cases, a vast amount of premium is attached. These coins are very much sought after by veteran collectors. Their common name is: Monster Toned!
Toning on Silver coins, can increase values or decrease values. It depends on how even the tone is and who your buyer is. Many coin collector's love toned coins and many collector's hate them....some collector's only collect toned coins.. There is no guide to actually tell you what a toned coin is worth. I've even heard story's of fake toning on coins. I guess it's all relative to what the coin market is doing at that time.
@silverfuturist how can climate change not be related to the economy? Look at wheat futures, look at the floods in Saskatchewan and loss of crops, look at the same in Pakistan, look at the record heat and fires burning crops in Russia and tell me climate and economy aren't linked. Climate IS economy. Not one part of the economy is derived from fantasy land, it's really stuff we grow, mine or assemble.
@cfini72 de-industrialization is an amazingly good idea. What you need to realize is that we do so much damage with industry that there's another way to do it. We're only just beginning our understanding of bio-construction. Spider-silk is stronger than steel. Trees can push roads up and apart. Just imagine if we GREW our homes and roads and machines. It is within reach. Americans ARE climate deniers, Max certainly got that right.

hi just stumbling on your work now. very great -- you pull from lots of familiar + unfamiliar sources. your passion, knowledge and excitement for the subject matter just oozes out of your webcasts. keep having fun!
Since Halloween 2008 the silver ETF (SLV) has doubled whilst inflation has been negligible , I find it hard to buy anything that has doubled so quickly because it feels like it needs to have a correction (low 16s would be nice) before taking off. But for what it's worth the weekly chart technicals appear very bullish.
@mrbeanbag Look at this technical chart: rate of change of 180 days for silver, and for gold. These two stories are not told the same way when shown side by side. Inflation has been very high that I can see, 10 to 15% on essentials. I don't regard deflation of the most expensive cars or yachts or skyscrapers as being essential or relevant, of course.

by the way, what do you think will happen if the US and the Islamic Republic of Iran fight a war? Norman Finkelstein says that Israel will attack Lebanon soon, and it was reported in the media that the Iranian government is ready to equip the Lebanese government. Iran says that if they are attacked, they will close off the Straits of Hormuz, which will spike oil prices. What's your economic analysis on this matter?
I don't worry about Iran/Israel.. Worry about India/Pakistan. Smart elites will go that way to provoke WW3. Both countries are "fire on detection" Means they see missile coming from the other side, they'll fire back without questions asked. Also Indian PM once said: "if Pakistan does something stupid, tomorrow there will be no such country as Pakistan"
Alex Jones said that Glenn Beck has 5 people monitoring Alex Jones. Hard to believe since Beck only employs 20 people. Google "Glenn Beck Employees" - Beck's production company, Mercury Radio Arts, produces or co-produces his radio, TV, live events, publishing and digital media projects. Founded in 2002, Mercury has a full time staff of 20 employees and is based in New York, NY.
Remember, Jberni said that his idea is based on the Gov not intervening with the markets. He stated that the Gov can manipulate the markets, and make him look bad, or prolong the collapse.

They must semi climb on board with a few morsels of truth or loose ALL credibility, although they have zero credibility with me they still have " dazed follower's " to play to.

Since Halloween 2008 the silver ETF (SLV) has doubled whilst inflation has been negligible , I find it hard to buy anything that has doubled so quickly because it feels like it needs to have a correction (low 16s would be nice) before taking off. But for what it's worth the weekly chart technicals appear very bullish.
mrbeanbag 1 year ago
@mrbeanbag Look at this technical chart: rate of change of 180 days for silver, and for gold. These two stories are not told the same way when shown side by side. Inflation has been very high that I can see, 10 to 15% on essentials. I don't regard deflation of the most expensive cars or yachts or skyscrapers as being essential or relevant, of course.

favourite subscription by far, always look forward to your videos
by the way, what do you think will happen if the US and the Islamic Republic of Iran fight a war? Norman Finkelstein says that Israel will attack Lebanon soon, and it was reported in the media that the Iranian government is ready to equip the Lebanese government. Iran says that if they are attacked, they will close off the Straits of Hormuz, which will spike oil prices. What's your economic analysis on this matter?

@ik999

Is the possibility of Fox News following you the reason you put on that tie ?
You were more pure when you used to make your videos surrounded by the farm tools and the hen pecking about.

@Luiyi385 Could be an online selling for a Fox News appearance. That would be great. He deserves it. Better than that Snookie, and other media garbage.

I don't worry about the short term. I just keep buying. On average I buy 70% silver and 30% gold as a store of my meager wealth.
