I use Urban Decay primer which I think is excellent. Unfortunately, it still looked like ass, pardon my French. This is just not good eyeshadow, which is really strange considering that they also make a different line which I think is quite good.
i just got this quad in spiced peach, and its ok...the colors had a little shimmer to them so they werent ashy at all but they seem to blend together and make it all look the same so i wasnt happy with that.
I use estee lauder for foundation. and one time got a free gift. There was one color I liked, but when I tried to put it on it did take a while. and different brushes. They blend with different colors well, but by themselves, I can't wear estee lauder eyeshadow. I thought I was the only one with that problem.
I think I've got the same quads as a gift from the counter.. it works fine for me.. I like the purple color.. so I only use two colors out of 4.. Anyway, it's free.. and purple suits my skintone though..

have you tried using primer on your lids before applying the eyeshadows

I work for Lauder and I agree! I've been training with these shadows and they are difficult!
