As a rough idea of the amount of cheese, I probably used around 50 grams of grated cheese. Just make sure there is enough to cover the bread thoroughly :)

@pacificyellowmermaid That’s a lovely comment! Sorry for the slow reply I don’t always see every comment in my inbox so I have to go looking sometimes :) A Christmas menu, that would have been a good idea! I have Christmas vids going out between now and the new year such as…... Whole roast duck with a glaze and orange sauce Roast potatoes cooked in duck fat Mulled wine Whole gammon with honey mustard and cloves Hope you like them :) OriginalNakedChef
Im hungry now. Thank you for this easy recipe. I am in the states, and cheese is cheese..to me anyway, cuz I love cheese too - even the cheap stuff, but YES..it IS tastier elsewhere. I lived in Europe for 8 years. I got the good stuff then ( I could AFFORD it then too). sigh. Anyway off to the kitchen for a tuna melt!
oh yes you can buy cheddar, BUT it is not the same and I miss british cheddar, i've set to taste the Irish cheese they sell here at Walmart. The cheese there is like hard block, here is like a soft block and you can really taste the difference
@bubbe2005 Youre going to Walmart for cheese that's the problem!! I don't know about the states but in canada we have nice gourmet cheese stores/specialty cheese stores where they make cheese themselves and/or import fancy european / other cheeses :-) Hope this helps!
yep because Walmart and HEB is all we have here!!!!!!!!! trust me if they had a UK groceries store here with UK grocerie goods of course I will do my shopping there rather than HEB or WALMART!!!!!!!!!!
I loveeeeeeee all your vids, is it you which have a program on Asian food Channel call Naked Chef? Perhaps you can try other recipe for our Asian taste :D or maybe you can try seafood menu or desert? I'm eager wait for your newest session, Gud Luck... :)

i tried it, it was amazingly delicious! but i couldnt really taste the tuna..do u have any recommendations for which brand of tuna i should use? or should i use fresh raw tuna?
If you could not really taste the tuna, You could try adding more tuna to the mix. Also make sure that you have seasoned the mix well. Add alittle salt to the tuna itself if necessary.
It could be worth trying a different brand next time as I am sure there are some variations. Also there are different liquids in the can. Brine/olive oil/Spring water/Sunflower oil.
This looks amazing. I've been looking for a good way to eat tuna as it has alot of protein for working out. Now I have a meal to look forward to after. Thank you.
@OriginalNakedChef hi, ah yeah delete please :) cheers ONC! great lunch one this one, just sub'd as well cause I saw a toad in hole recipe in related links just now :)
This deserves a second comment, I'm not sure how many of these i have consumed since discovering this brilliant video, but it must be into the hundreds by now LOL!, and its definitely a dish that can be varied too. I finely chop some tomato with the spring onions, and also add some chilli powder to the mix before putting it on the bread, a trial and error dish that is so worth the effort once reaching perfection!
@OriginalNakedChef it's because i've noticed that cheddar hardens quite quick once you've melted it and I don't really know a lot about cheese. I wanted mine to be like yours. What kind of cheese did you use?

I would really like to try this it looks so delicious and simple....the only thing is I dont have a grill or broiler. Can this be done in the kitchen oven?
I dont see why you would not be able to do this in an oven if you have not got a grill. Maybe turn the oven to high and place the food at the top of the oven and watch it whilst cooking.
@OriginalNakedChef I did it in the oven and it turned out great! My family enjoyed it especially the children Thanks for sharing..... I am going to do your Yorkshire pudding recipe to go along with Christmas dinner, I will let you know how it comes out.
