One thing that really separates the two is that Kobe doesn't keep himself in good shape like Michael did, Michael from 33-35 is more athletic and explosive than Kobe at 27-now it's really pathetic that is why kobe's play has dropped so much and the gap between him and MJ has widened so much more this past season, a horrible season for Kobe was 2010-2011. His body can't match his game.

This is true, Kobe adopted Jordan in a lot of ways from work ethic to in game skills. I remember Jordan was showing Kobe the ropes and Kobe knew Jordan fade away shots were almost unguardable. Do you know how MVP is even determined? Standings play a huge role in it as well as stats. Nash lead the suns to 62 wins in his first MVP. KG happened to be in an ERA where Duncan was just as good, but had the better team thus winning MVP. Do some research, then get back to me.

Also, Michael Jordan shot 6-19 (32%) versus the Seattle Sonics game 4 of the 1996 NBA Finals and then 5-19 (26%) in the clinching game 6 of the same NBA Finals where they also won a championship like Kobe did on his 6-24 performance. One thing that really separates the two is that Kobe doesn't keep himself in good shape like Michael did, Michael from 33-35 is more athletic and explosive than Kobe at 27-now it's really pathetic that is why kobe's play has dropped so much and the gap between him and MJ has widened so much more this past season, a horrible season for Kobe was 2010-2011. Pau Gasol is the most valuable player on the Lakers, not Kobe. Face it. Before it was Shaq. Yes, Kobe has the most game winners, but how does that play a role when he MISSES more than anyone??? That only shows he goes for fame like a little kid. (Like you).

You aren't helping your team win if you are missing. The goal is to put the ball in the basket and stop your opponents from doing the same. I will never rate Kobe as good or better as MJ.

0 mvps because when he got mvp in 08 the media liked him ...the previous years they didnt. standings do matter and they did factor into 08. but 02-03 Kobe played just as good and better...over 50 wins...better than duncan...but media wouldnt give kobe credit. so see mvps and awards its all nonsense to me. Jordan won them because no one was going against him in the media, yeah maybe he shouldve had 6 or 7 mvps if barkley didnt win regardless that just proves the award is media hyped.

Do you know how MVP is even determined? Standings play a huge role in it as well as stats. Nash lead the suns to 62 wins in his first MVP. KG happened to be in an ERA where Duncan was just as good, but had the better team thus winning MVP. Do some research, then get back to me.

@Xuzial Okay dumbass, First of all. Kobe shot for 6-24 in game 7 (not 6-27) versus Boston lets not forget he did grab 15 rebounds, not a lot of shooting guards do that. Also, Michael Jordan shot 6-19 (32%) versus the Seattle Sonics game 4 of the 1996 NBA Finals and then 5-19 (26%) in the clinching game 6 of the same NBA Finals where they also won a championship like Kobe did on his 6-24 performance. Where they were both carried by their teammates in the clinching games and named Finals MVPs

A lot of people hate on Kobe cause he patterned his game after MJ...but why wouldn't you want to pattern your game after the best? And besides that, Kobe almost has the same build as Jordan not to mention they are the same height. Kobe knew he was gunna be a shooting guard so he looked up to the best at that position.
