oh wow that was awesome and inspiring. Granted I will NEVER opt for Epidural as I hope for a totally drug free birth, but that was still fantastic to watch.

The use of pictocin doesn't make your body or your baby any more ready for birth, it is an attempt to try and force something that is not ready yet. So it's no surprise that dilating was a problem. Also pictocin causes severe painful contraction which puts undue stress on the Momma and Baby making it even harder to progress.

Shane also was given a synthetic version of what out body makes naturally in labor called Oxytocin/ Pitocen. that causes very hard contraction with no gradual ease into it.... a few swear words I am sure would pass through you mouth too

I have been watching birthing videos for research for a part in a small film. I play a pregnant woman and I want to do her justice. I have seen probably 3 dozen videos at least. This is THE MOST heart warming and funniest I have seen. I just needed to see women during labor, but once I started watching I wouldn't stop. You are a sweet couple and now have a beautiful family. that belt is too tight how will the woomb expand for child to slid down? it is stupid to use that tight belt to hear baby heart in the old times millions babys were born no help
wow that brought back alot of memories congratulations on the birth of amelia :). I understand most of wat u went threw i wanted to have an entirely natural birth myself and on the 21 May 2007 lunch time contractions began. much to my surprise we had a 25 hour labour with all drugs administered we were still failing to progress and a c section ended up being our only option I also almost need a blood transfusion my blood count dropped to 85. But on the 22nd may at 1:53pm my llil man was born

An honest depiction of how birthing parents can do a (pretty) natural birth IN A HOSPITAL, when they WORK AT IT...are DEDICATED...and have understanding attendents...AND FAMILY...around them. that belt is too tight how will the woomb expand for child to slid down? it is stupid to use that tight belt to hear baby heart in the old times millions babys were born no help

wow that brought back alot of memories congratulations on the birth of amelia :). I understand most of wat u went threw i wanted to have an entirely natural birth myself and on the 21 May 2007 lunch time contractions began. much to my surprise we had a 25 hour labour with all drugs administered we were still failing to progress and a c section ended up being our only option I also almost need a blood transfusion my blood count dropped to 85. But on the 22nd may at 1:53pm my llil man was born

This was AWESOME! An honest depiction of how birthing parents can do a (pretty) natural birth IN A HOSPITAL, when they WORK AT IT...are DEDICATED...and have understanding attendents...AND FAMILY...around them. Didn't see much of Daddy, but MOMMY is BEAUTIFUL, and couldn't believe a newborn could EVER be THAT GORGEOUS!!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Josh and Shane :)
