Weynrich is speaking the true CONservative line when he says he doesn't want everyone to vote. I've spoken to more than a few two-bit rightwing legislators who have confessed as much to me.
I understand the need for social and national cohesion, but I'm baffled why the bible thumpers go absolutely apeshit about gays. Lumping gays with murderers would be comical if it weren't so draconian.
Yes, I also am a warrior for God. Zeus and Poseidon rule!!! I will lay down my... uh... constitutional rights for "...one nation under God(s), with liberty and justice for all. Even you dumb monotheists! Boy are you stupid.
Paul Weyrich, commenting on how he doesn't want more people to vote, and conservatives to better when less people vote (2:36) died this morning at the age of 66.
omfg the end was scary...if Christianity became our government id prolly flee to Canada in fear of religious persecution..i dont believe in fairy tales...
The 1960s radical generation made the mistake of choosing to take a stand on cultural change rather than economic change that would truly lift everyone. Today the legitimate backlash shows how misdirected and futile were those efforts. What the conservatives don't get is that in triumphing over "liberalism" they do not see the seething mass of marginalized people who have been betrayed by both left and right. Triumphant conservative Christianity will have to repent its failure of compassion.
1:58 .. its time for god's people to come out of the closet? And here I was thinking that the church was against that..

Thank You, Mr. Falwell, I'm happy to have been of help.
Chrisianity is a joke, a very bad and cruel joke, especially in America.

This is not what my ancestors came to america for. We didn't come to america to be in a theocracy. We came for freedom.
