I'd like to consider myself a hardcore gamer, and not the I repleaced my blood with red bull so i can play halo3 for 120h straight kind, but a gamer who likes a challange, intellegent gameplay, immersive atmosphere, a game to esc reallity and become someone who you couldn't possibly be in real life (because space travel hasn't been invented yet and all the nukes are still in one peice). You got to be a total fucking hater not to like Kinect. With a little bit of time, some games are going to be adopted for full Kinect compatibility and just Kick ass, and not in the Wii sort of way.
Also, for anyone interested in Kinect, see my video on it. I hacked a retail promo for kinect. Just tested and the hack still works, so far gotten 3 full kinect packages. I uploaded a video to see how I did it.
I just hope you can change your costume and lightsaber color, thats one of the things I like about most star wars games, how you can customize your character. I think customization is a very important part in games, I love the customization in soul calibur 4, I think more games should be like that, costumes are good but the way soul calibur 4 does it it way better.

Why does it seem like all the PS3 fanboys want to completely toss the fact that this is the first trailer for this and its a full year at least from release? I'm sure you'll be able to move and do more than walk in a straight line, and they'll probably up the graphics to match other Kinect games (Look at Forza for christs sake) Also for people expecting real time combat as fast as the movies...I really doubt most people would want to play it, Jedi reflexes aren't common.

Where is the person playing? Looks linear but I guess that is best way to play it on Kinect. The zooming forward works, but how would a game like COD work with this? Also, the ship comes down at the end before he kills the last enemies, so it was timed like that. Makes me wonder if this was just premade footage rather than someone playing it there. Eh... gotta see how this works when it finally comes out.
If this is the future of star wars games, then please never make another one. It does look very linear and bland and personally, I'd rather watch paint dry than play the game. I know i am not the only one. If Kinect does not actually let you move freely through a RPG game world or any game world like you are using a controller, I know I would not pay money for it. Where is the person playing? Looks linear but I guess that is best way to play it on Kinect. The zooming forward works, but how would a game like COD work with this? Also, the ship comes down at the end before he kills the last enemies, so it was timed like that. Makes me wonder if this was just premade footage rather than someone playing it there. Eh... gotta see how this works when it finally comes out.

If this is the future of star wars games, then please never make another one. It does look very linear and bland and personally, I'd rather watch paint dry than play the game. I know i am not the only one. If Kinect does not actually let you move freely through a RPG game world or any game world like you are using a controller, I know I would not pay money for it. If it acts like the Wii instead of detecting every move I make, then please Microsoft. Keep it. Don't bore me and others.

This looks incredibly boring. Sure, a star wars game where you control the lightsaber would be cool, but I'd much rather play the force unleashed II when it comes out instead of this poorly executed game, which looks very linear, very slow moving, and very easy.

I just figured out there little sly fucking cover uup!! Kinect boasts about not having to use controllers! Now everybody knows that this trailer fake!!!! but they havent lied!! at the start he says this is actual "controller" feed gameplay. Meaning that they obviously did this gameplay using a controller, so if anyone was to try to argue with tem they could just turn round and say wat we didnt lie we just covered it up and acted like little fucking kids who cant make any decent hard ware!!!!

as technology ever so much evolves... so must the old ways die out... including the really good ones with talent. Games now are starting to suck ass... soley depending on cheesy and bright special effects to the actual story and gameplay enjoyment! I swear people get lamer if they even want to try this crappy piece of game. Last time I checked hardcore games were the best... not lame ass move-it-youreslf-games! Nintendo was unique in it's wii.
