  • This is NOT the original version from 1961. Does anyone know when this re-recording was cut?

  • The big Texan was a most lovely singer, a distinctive voice that shall never be forgot R.I.P. Billy...one of the greatest.

  • It's hard to belive this only hit number 23 on the charts

  • Great version of a great song, and he almost nails the melody the way Willie wrote it.

  • Thank you for posting.

  • Kurt Ostbahn & die Kombo, Scho komisch wie schnö de Zeit vageht (1999), Album: 50 verschenkte Jahre

  • ONe of my favorites by the Tall Texan. Just don't get much better than this! R.I.P. Mr. Walker.

  • This is an old favorite of mine and Billy really makes it special. This has been recorded by so many artists but I really like Billy's pure country sound. His distinctive voice is always so pleasant and smooth. The band and the background singers sound great. I love seeing him here doing this song. Thank you for posting. - Paula

Love mostly all versions but Elvis' 4,30

minutes long bluesier interpretation is the

    most incredible one!
