The show got cancelled so that unfortunately won't likey happen. I think it was originally going to go for another year but since it got cancelled my guess is that's why they made the film, and that would of been the plot for the 5th season. As sad as it is that Michael died, I think it is a good message though; he died in order to protect those he loved.
