i have the same exact 4-wheeler. it is so reliable and handles like a dream same thing is happening to ours so if we take that cover off and put it back on then it will stop rattleing?

what type of yamalube did you put in it?
that suspention design is so you can adjust the pressure and the hight of the rear shock.
those are drain tubes so that i you tip the 4 wheeler is pises out there so it does not flood the engine.
