  • IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY SEE SOME LONGBOARDING SKIP TO 1:21

  • were in conneticut? im in new england and always looking for hills

  • So just an idea but why don't the suits they wear for longboard races have 'slide pucks' velcroed to them so if you wipe you just slide on your hip or your tailbone w/o breaking any bones? I think those motorcyclists back protectors would help a lot too its like extra armor and light too.

  • @dmgcat If you fall going fast you want to fall on leather rather then plastic because it slows you down before you hit that guardrail.

  • @dmgcat you would keep sliding and fly off the road into trees and off of cliffs or into the guard rail

  • are you guys at the quabin resivore

  • longboarders from florida lol am from florida and you hardly find big hills maybe some super steep ones but dnt last to long like me i go to this resort in central florida longboard paradise lol they must travel allot to experience speed

  • woo getting my evo soon

  • Fuck youtube for blocking the song.

  • you mean wmg

  • Cool vid

  • Whats the song at the very begining?

  • looks like the guy in the red and black at the end is on a Kebbek, Ian Comishin... sweet stuff.. doesnt look all that fast though... fun but not that fast... the only thing speedboarding over carving proves is your an adrenaline junky.. :) i know i am

  • wow guys whats wrong with doing carving and speedboarding I mean I do both and they are both equally fun. And the reason they do'nt carve is so they can go fast and carving reduces speed. also the "jumps suits" are leather and are for protecting getting injured, Well protecting u from getting more injured if you were wear a t shirt and shorts.

  • lol dummie V :P

  • jump suits? lol! they are leather suits. why no carving? because tucking is about 40-50km/h faster than carving. also, you cant draft off other racers while you are carving. you need to learn to tuck, and start racing. you will see the light.

  • the reason speed wobbles are easy to control in a situation like this is because of how they are tucking. the more aero you are, the less speed wobble you will get.

  • Why cant we have hills like that sucka in the u.k? Damn thatcher

  • where on the east coast is this big hill rd?

  • shut the hell up.

  • shut the hell up.

  • because carving is for having fun, tucking is for trying to prove something? i think thats it hahahahahah

  • wow your a dumbass. Do you SERIOUSLY think they could carve while going fucking 50 mph??? People like you are such idiots. Just keep dissing people about something you have never done.

  • how do you get rid of speed wobbles

  • skill and tight trucks

  • My answers: Tight trucks, wide trucks, channel trucks with stronger/wider springs, BIG wheels, longer deck, bindings to increase board control and response, alternate camber with the more sensitive one at the front, experience, and cut out coffee.

  • wow... everything about that except for the experience part was fairly off...

experience, not tight trucks saves lives.

ever heard the phrase loose trucks save lives?

    just takes practice and skill.

  • at 1:40 the guy got wobbles, but luckily he controled them

  • what boards do they use. Also are they just

tightening there trucks up all the way.

  • Looks like evos and another i didnt see. you dont need tight trucks unless your bad or really heavy. If your are inexperience then you get wobbles so tighten up but these people look like they know what their doing so i wouldnt say they have tight trucks

  • DASS RAW

  • What is ur top speed on any hill you have ridden?

  • i personally don't skate above 25 mph, i just film events. all the guys in the video all skate in the 60+mph range during races with no problem. "Dubester" (Brent) recently recorded speeds in excess of 73mph in Colorado (clocked by GPS and follow-car), followed shortly after by Kevin Rimes who hit over 78mph on the same hill. they're trying to break 80mph this spring.

  • K Rimes is nuts!!!!!

  • He is my hero (when it comes to long boarding)
